The motherly attribute of God in the Old Testament

RESUMÉ God's relationship towards man takes place in scope of the history of salvation. The Old Testament is the annunciation of great acts of God, where the key role is played by the Israelite nation. God gradually reveals himself to man in a way so that the addressee - man - is able to understand God's revealed love. God is always the first one to have the initiative. God's communication with people reaches its top by the contract at Mount Sinai. And not only that, God also gives man his eternal promises, reveals him his name and leads him out of Egypt. In the Old Testament God is totally free from any sexual practices which are so inherent with the surrounding nations' polytheism. Israel learns about the only God mostly through experience, not through analogy or theological research. It is because man was able to learn about God's character and attributes from God's self-revealing. There are a number of references to God's fatherly love towards Israel in the Old Testament. A number of similarities exist between the character of earthly father and God, the basic reason being that man can not think in other categories than man's ones. Images of the relationship between the Lord and the people of Israel in the prophetical books of the Old Testament

ANGLICKÁ ANOTACE Images of the relationship between the Lord and the people of Israel in the prophetical books of the Old Testament Images which the prophets of Israel, inspired by the Holy Spirit, used to express the relationship between the Lord and the people of Israel are described and explained in this thesis. The images are taken from various spheres of life of ancient people (e.g. family and matrimony, agriculture, nature, social setting etc.). Theological message of these images is also formed. Emphasis is given to images from the family and matrimony and agriculture. The prophets used the images in order to talk about God truly, but not too concretely. The images can also help us to imagine a biblical text, to take an attitude to the facts about we read and answer to God. The images complete each other and in this way they show a wide spectra of the God`s love. They called Israel to live a good life, to be faithful to God and to serve him. They also encouraged people in the difficult and sad situations. The Old Testament images are used and fulfilled in the New Testament and they perform the relationship between Christ and his Church. ANOTATION Title: Pilgrimages to Jerusalem in the Old Testament The aim of this thesis is to show the extent to which the Old Testament pilgrimages issue - as a specific religious phenomenon - is related to the identity, historic formation, and eschatological targeting by the chosen people of Israel at the Lord, their God. After an introductory chapter, which covers the basic contextual foundations of the issue (anthropology, human movement, the history of the religious community, the anakefaleiósis of its "founder" and the myth that the objectives of the entire human race are in perfect harmony), the author moves on to discuss to the legal standards and regulations which applied on the pilgrimages, as codified in the Pentateuch. In this second chapter the author focuses mainly on the way in which the celebration of pilgrimage holidays helped build the identity of God's people in diverse environments, times and circumstances, and the development of the liturgy of the three major pilgrimages that culminate in pre-exile Jerusalem. In the third chapter, the author focuses on the conflicts between the prophetic institution and the royal and clerical institution in the environment of the temple in Zion. Marriage is God `s wanting and blessed relationship between man and woman. Already with creation God assigned humane creature to be equal even though they are different. God creatured man and woman to be for each other love each other and support each other. Example for them have to be God`s love to his chosen people, whom he loves with unconditional love. Wedlock is a sacrament sacred and holly. According the Bible teaching, monogamy and unfaithfulness are sin. Child is for the couple God`s gift, whom he is blessing, loves and have a special plan for. Children are blessings and pride of the parents. Family with many children is assurance for keeping faith and be strong and together at time of suffering. Family is participation in God`s creature. Responsibilities for each member in the family, helps matured each person. Husband and father have the responsibility for his wife and children before God and society. He also is commissioned to secure financially the family and support their traditions and religious life. Woman as a mother and wife with caring love arranges home for her children and husband. The Vocation of the Prophet in the Old Testament The purpose of this thesis is to clarify the vocation of the prophet in the Old Testament by the method of exegesis of the biblical texts (1 Samuel 3; Isaiah 6; Jeremiah 1) and their comparison. The Prophecy is introduced as wide-spread phenomena in the ancient world. The emphasis is placed on the Israelite prophets, concerning their tasks, social setting, perception of the Yahweh`s word and mainly on the event of the vocation, especially Samuel`s, Isaiah`s and Jeremiah`s. Samuel was appointed to be a servant of God in his early childhood. He was called to become a prophet in his youth, when he was laying in the temple near to the God`s ark. Other important items of his vocation are hearing a voice calling him, the person of his guide Eli, Samuels` harking and obedience, giving a message from God to Samuel. The Vocation by God changes the Samuel`s life. Isaiah was called in the temple of Jerusalem, at difficult era for Israel. His vision of the God`s glory and the singing of the seraphs impressed the prophet. He was aware of his sinfulness. God purified him and Isaiah wanted to serve God. View of the authorship of the Pentateuch in the course of history

The topic of this work is expressed by its title: The View of the Authorship of the Pentateuch in the Course of History. Our aim is not to resolve the complicated question about the authorship of the first five books of the Holy Bible, but to walk through the history from the text of Pentateuch itself up to our times and to observe the changes in the view of the authorship of Pentateuch. We try to observe not only views of the authorship, but also their philosophical and theological background. The work is divided into the chapters according to the main periods of the development of various opinions about the authorship of "The Low of Moses". The first period is described in the chapter with the name "Mentions in the Bible", in the next chapter "The Pre-critical Period" we speak about opinions in patristic and mediaeval times, the chapter "The Historical-critical View" refers about various theories of the last two centuries, especially about the source-hypothesis and finally the chapter "The Reactions on the Historical-critical Concept" speaks about the theories, which calculate more also with the voice of tradition.

RESUMÉ Kristus, velekněz Nové Smlouvy. Cílem této práce je seznámit čtenáře s problematikou kněžství z biblického hlediska především s pravýma jediným kněžstvím Kristovým podle Listu Židům. Práce je rozdělena do čtyř základních okruhů. V prvním se zabýváme kněžstvím tak, jak ho předkládá Starý Zákon, tedy kněžstvím židovským, které se ukáže jako nedokonalý předobraz kněžství Kristova. Stručně je zde zpracován vývoj SZ kněžských tříd a jsou představeny nejdůležitější předobrazy novozákonního kněžství, tedy osoby Melchizedecha, Mojžíše a Áróna. V druhé části je zkoumáno kněžství podle Nového Zákona. Zvlášť u synoptiků, u sv. Pavla a sv. Jana a nakonec v Listu Židům. Je zde zařazen přehled, který ukazuje, jakým způsobem je v jednotlivých knihách NZ užíván pojem kněz či kněžství obecně. Z něj vyplývá, jakým směrem se bude ubírat další zkoumání, totiž pozornost už zcela obrátíme na Kristovo kněžství, které je představeno pouze v listu Židům. Pro uvedení do souvislostí je v této části čtenář seznámen se strukturou a teologickým obsahem celého listu Židům. Práce vrcholí třetím okruhem, kde je podrobně rozpracována teologie hlavní části listu Židům. Jde o kněžskou christologii stojící na biblickém základě. The topic of the diploma thesis Project Financing from EU Funds is the characteristics of the issue of raising funds for projects funded prom the EU. Theoretical part contains knowledge about project management and structural funds. The practical part includes prepare a feasibility study of the project. This project will be co-financed from EU Funds. In the end of the thesis is processed the whole procedure of submission the request.
