The Diploma Thesis deals with an intangible assets reporting in different accounting systems. The purpose of the Diploma Thesis is a comparison of intangible assets in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Czech and Slovak accounting rules. It presents the impact of the found problematic scopes on the relevance of data reporting in the concrete companies. It points out the necessity of harmonization of national accounting legislations.

The diploma thesis focuses on comparison of selected economic phenomenon in various accounting systems. Examined systems are IFRS, US GAAP and Czech accounting legislation. Thesis examines long-lived assets (Property, Plant and Equipment), leasing and accruals. It contains a comparison of reporting rules of these accounting areas and the assessment of impacts caused by the different approaches of the examined systems.

Deferred Income Tax in Audit of Financial Statements

The thesis focuses on analysing the basics of deferred tax and additionally the calculation of same within a real manufacturing company. The thesis is separated into two linked parts, theoretical and practical. The latter demonstrates the practical use of described outcomes on accounting data from the analysed company. The aim is to identify, analyse and evaluate the specific, temporary differences that incur deferred tax and subsequently describe how we should account for this tax.

Gregorian Chant in the Liturgy of the Church

The aim of this thesis is to illustrate the perception of a Gregorian Chant in a historical context. It is far from being easy mainly because of the fact that there is unanimous contention - even among musiologists - which chants could or should be understood under this contention. In the first section of the historical part I was trying to describe the sources of latin liturgical chants, the sources of Gregorian Chants and personality of pope Gregory the Great. The theoretical section is dealing with the gregorian notations, melody, rhythm, particular forms, parts of church mass ordinarium and proprium and finally, gregorian text.

Evaluation of the Financial Situation of the Selected Company

The thesis is focused on the analysis of SAKO Brno, Inc. in the financial terms in the years 2012 - 2015. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts of financial analysis and the methods and procedures for the implementation of financial analysis. In the next part the data are evaluated and compared to those of competing companies. On the basis of these results the proposals for improving the current economic situations are also formulated.

In conclusion, according the situation is in which the company located , are designed steps possible solutions, which should lead to an improvement of the situation.
