Acoustics of small fans
Hájková, Lenka ; Rubina, Aleš (referee) ; Cifrinec, Ivan (referee) ; Hirš, Jiří (advisor)
Dissertation thesis falls within area of indoor climate and deals with investigation of acoustic microclimate in sanitary rooms of residential buildings during a mechanical ventilation. Sources of a noise in these areas are small fans. The thesis contains the evaluation of the existing situation concerning the referred issue, physical laws of acoustics and theoretical basics of acoustics of air conditioning. The part of the thesis is experimental measurement which aims to evaluate the situation in real applications and the possibility of influencing the acoustic microclimate by affixing of small fans on the building structure. The work contains a model for the verification of certain anticipated dependencies and theoretical investigation of the distribution of sound pressure levels in the sanitary room, depending on the location of the noise source. The last part of the work offers possible measures to improve the acoustic microclimate and elimination of the noise in sanitary rooms and in protected areas of residential buildings.
Climatological and phenological conditions of Tušimice observatory
Hájková, Lenka ; Sládek, Ivan (advisor) ; Láska, Kamil (referee) ; Žalud, Zdeněk (referee)
The thesis is aimed at climatological, agroclimatological and phenological conditions at Tušimice observatory during 45 years of observations (1968-2012) on basis of meteorological and phenological data by using statistical methods, method of cumulative series and geographical information system. Basic climatic elements (air temperature, precipitation total, snow cover, cloudiness, wind, humidity, sunshine duration, fog and thunderstorm), agroclimatic characteristics according to the WMO recommendation, selected phenological phases (mainly beginning of flowering 10 %) of herb and wooden species were processed in the study. The literature overview was made on climatic and phenological conditions at Tušimice station, in the Czech Republic and other countries. Apart from statistical analysis, the elements were also evaluated in the interaction with the changing air circulation in Central Europe. In addition, results were compared to Quitt's classification based on long-term averages of meteorological data (1961-1990 versus 1981-2010). The drought occurrence was evaluated in 45 years of observations period. The thesis is divided into three main parts - Climatic conditions of Tušimice observatory (part 5.1), Agroclimatic conditions of Tušimice observatory (part 5.2) and Phenological conditions of...
Bioclimate of Liberec
Rubáš, Dominik ; Sládek, Ivan (advisor) ; Hájková, Lenka (referee)
The diploma thesis provides special studies from the human bioclimatology sector. Ten year sequences (2001-2010) of many meteorological components are processed here. The meteorological components are as follows: average daily air temperature, average daily wind speed, time of sunshine per day, duration of rainfalls, fogs and fumes and also monthly aggregate rainfall. The main study aims attention to evaluation of complex effects of selected elements on humans. The most and the least suitable season of the year for performing outdoor activities for a human were found, including optimal definition of summer holidays. Further studies concern the problems of air pollution related with synoptic situation. Sufficient space has been also given to more studies relating to wind chill or relations among individual meteorological elements, which can be helpful while forecasting the weather. With the help of particular data provided by Liberec hospital, the correlation between amounts of patients with particular diseases and changes of selected meteorological elements has been discovered.
Problems of Administration of Blood Transfusions
Hájková, Lenka ; Pavlíková, Pavla (advisor) ; Brixiová, Simona (referee)
v AJ Topics of my study, its evaluation and final report for my bachelor's degree cover special topics and problems of blood transfusion administration. The literaty outfit of this study is dividend into a theoretical and a practical part. Theoretical chapters deal directly with basic problems of the subject and with principles of administration of blood transfusions in hospitalized patients. Description of anatomy and physiology of blood and its components, medical terminology of blood transfusions, their history, composition of blood products, guidelines for transfusion administration, adverse effects and complications form the introduction of the entire issue. Following practical part and chapters cover the background, aim and hypotheses considering the research - its methods and results. Data from MCQ - multiple choice questionnaires are presented in tables and graphs and discussed. Several interviews and experts' opinions and commentaries are added. Main data on administration of transfusions cover knowledge, practical realization of guidelines and standards in transfusion medicine in healt care providers, especially nurses, their clinical sense for patients' status and signs, cooperation with physicians, their immediate steps when confronted with transfusion adverse events and complications,...
Testing of HLA antigens and antibodies in the laboratory of transfusion department.
Hájková, Lenka ; Řeháček, Vít (advisor) ; Jílek, Petr (referee)
Author: Lenka Hájková Title: Testing of HLA antigens and antibodies in the laboratory of transfusion department Bachelor's Thesis Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Field of study: Medical Laboratory Technician Background: Retrospective study, overview of investigations of potential kidney recipients from 12 participating hemodialysis centres during 3 years (2008 - 2010). Methods: Following examinations were performed on potential kidney recipients in the HLA laboratory of the Transfusion Department, University Hospital Hradec Králové: serological fenotyping HLA-A, B (CDC test), PCR HLA-DRB1* genotyping (SSO, SSP) and screening of antileukocyte antibodies (CDC test). Results: The total number of 154 potential kidney recipients were examined during the period of time from 1. 1. 2008 to 31. 12. 2010 (2008: 57, 2009: 46, 2010: 51). Screening of antileukocyte antibodies was performed on 1 140 samples, the most frequent result of antibody levels was between 0 - 30 %. Most patiens were at age of 41 - 61 years, male/female ratio was 2:1. The most frequent HLA antigens concerning the group of patients with kidney diseases were HLA-A2, HLA-B8 and HLA-DRB1*11. Conclusions: During the period under consideration the number of newly registered potential kidney recipients did not...
Hodnocení výživy u seniorů
HÁJKOVÁ, Lenka
My Bachelor's thesis aims at assessing the eating habits of seniors to find out whether seniors consume sufficiently varied foods with a healthy percentage of fruits, vegetables and other important foods (with a high content of vitamins, fibre and other nutritional components). The paper also evaluates drinking habits, since a sufficient intake of fluids has the same importance for people as a quality diet. The theoretical section of the paper defines important terms such as nutrition, dietary components and drinking habits. Information was collected using a quantitative method (anonymous questionnaires). The goal of the thesis was to find out the quality and quantity attributes of the diet of a selected reference group of seniors, and to determine whether seniors sufficiently observe regular drinking habits. 100 seniors from the Hvízdal and Dobrá Voda old people{\crq}s homes were addressed with an anonymous questionnaire, of which 86 actually took part in the survey. I set two goals. Goal 1: To find out the level of the seniors{\crq} diet from a quality and quantity perspective, and goal 2: To determine whether seniors sufficiently observe regular drinking habits. I managed to fulfil both of these goals. I then formulated two hypotheses. Hypothesis 1 (seniors do not consume a sufficient amount of fruit and vegetables) was confirmed as well as hypothesis 2 (seniors do not observe healthy, regular drinking habits). The results of the thesis may serve to inform the general public and professionals about seniors' nutrition and drinking habits.
