Statistical analysis of demographic development in selected region

The article analyzes the demographic trend in the Pilsen region in the period from 1994 to 2014.This is a long-term statistical analysis, which monitors the age structure of the population as well as mortality, fertility, divorce and marriage rate in the region.Completely mentioned indicators are compared with values of the Czech Republic and the results show deviations and particularities of the region.On the based on the trend in combination and the time series the prediction for the next 5 years is introduced. The conclusions summarizes the results and the impact of the proposals and outlines posible solutions.The data for the analysis come from the website of the Czech Statistical Office.The work is processed in program Statistics 12.CZ.
Marriage, divorce and birth rate in CR districts

This diploma thesis deals with an analysis of marriage, divorce and birth rate in districts of the Czech republic. The thesis is divided into two parts. In the first part, there is a theoretical introduction to the issues and the second part is devoted to the analysis itself. Besides defining aim of the thesis and a description of the used metodology, the theoretical part contains professional literature review and explanation of the basic terms. The practical part describes and explains trends and changes in the development of marriage, divorce and birth rate in regions of CR in the period from 1950 to 2014. Based on the latest available data the next part describes territorial differences of CR districts in the values of monitored indicators. Analysis discovers development trends and territorial differentiation of demographic processes and their key factors.
Statistical analysis of unemployment development in selected region

Bachelor thesis concerns about unemployment in Louny district. Unemployment in this district is under average of unemployment in Usti nad Labem region and is part of districts with lower unemployment rate. There are risk groups, such as people older than 50 years or people who seek employment for more than 2 years. Ratio of those people is still increasing. In perspective of education, most of those people have only elementary education. There is increasing amount of job opportunities from 2010 and the last year there is also increasing amount of employment for graduates or handicapped people. There is great potential in industrial zones in Louny district, which employees a lot of people. One of recommended change is to make the rules of unemployment compensation stricter and bigger support of community work.
Analysis of labour market in selected region

The topic of this thesis is Analysis of labour market of a selected region. For my thesis I chose Karlovarský region, from which I originate. The thesis focuses primarily on terms labour market, employment, unemployment and state employment policy. Karlovarský region is in this thesis characterized from the view of location, traffic infrastructure, education and job vacancies offered by the Labour office. Just as important are the active employment tools, that aim to solve the unemployment in the region, who are they focused on and how are they financed. The practical part meets the goal of this thesis, which is the analysis of the labour market of the selected region from the view of development trends of employment and unemployment, describes the employment policy in the region and suggests measures that will lead to positive changes in the labour market of the region. Analysis is carried out with the data from Czech statistical office, Integrated portal of the Ministry of labour and social affairs. Part of the thesis is dedicated to development of the largest employers of Karlovarský region in certain years, what is their business and how many employees they have. The conclusion of the thesis is focused on evaluation of the measures, which will lead to positive changes in employment in the labour market of Karlovarský region.
Statistical analysis of unemployment development in selected region

This Bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of unemployment. The theoretical part deals mainly in the explanation of individual terms such as labour market, labour supply and demand, manpower, unemployment, natural unemployment rate, measuring unemployment, causes and consequences of unemployment, types of unemployment, policy of employment and the history of unemployment. The analysis is focused on the Central region. Unemploymet is examined in terms of unemployment age, education level, duration of registration, sex, job classification, unemployment rate and job vacancies. Selected indicators are compared by the individual districts of the Central region. By the end of the analysis, the focus describes basic trends.
Statistical analysis of unemployment development

Individual chapters of the theoretical part of diploma thesis entitled Statistical analysis of unemployment familiarization deal with the issue of unemployment,with the issue of time series analysis and with the creation of the unemployment rate prediction. Furtherwork focuses on familiarization with the problems of multidimensional statistical methods, namely cluster analysis. The practical part of the thesis focuses on the analysis of current developments in the unemployment rate in the Czech Republic as a whole and subsequently in all 14 regions of the Czech Republic in the years 1993 to 2014. Subsequently, in each of the aforementioned territorial units conducted short-term predictions of the unemployment rate for the years 2015and 2016. These predictions are made based on the best model according to Box-Jenkins method. The unemployment rate is further examined in terms of the number of unemployed by age and educational background. The full analysis is based on the relevant annual data from the Czech Statistical Office. For the purpose of cluster analysis are also used data broken down by the districts of the Czech Republic. Prognosis of the unemployment rate are created in the statistical software Eviews and Cluster Analysis in SPSS Statistics.
Statistical analysis of unemployment development in CR regions

This diploma thesis analyzes the evolution of regional disparities in terms of unemployment in Czech Republic in the period from 2005 to 2015. The theoretical part focuses on labor market issues and unemployment. In practical part of diploma thesis, there is examined unemployment according to the share of unemployed persons in the respective regions, then also unemployment according to the share of unemployed men and women, prediction of the future development of the share of unemployed persons for the year 2016, the number of registered job seekers, vacancies and the number of registered persons per vacancy. Subsequently all regions are examined in the mutual comparison of registered job-seekers in categories according to age and registration length. Analysis of the evolution of unemployment is illustrated by tables and graphs expressing time series. For statistical examination is used arithmetic average and especially indices in time series as a chain index, growth rate, the average ratio of growth and the average growth rate. There is the overall analysis of the regions according to selected criteria in the conclusion of the thesis. The results characterize regions, which appears to be the worst from the perspective of unemployment and belong amongst endangered or regions achieving the most favourable values.
Analysis of changes of households expenditures in CR

The Diploma Thesis is focused on changes in household spending in the Czech Republic.The aim was to analyze the changes in the average spending in individual household types. In the introductory part, the method of data collection by the Czech Statistical Office, which collects the data from the households in the framework of the family accounts statistics, is described. Moreover, the inflation questions are explained here, together with the description of models of consumption ways. The introduction of the Thesis also includes the explanation of options of a non-consumer spending in the form of both investments and various types of savings. The practical part comprises analyses monitoring changes in the spending structure, in the spending extent, and in the development of the expense entry value. The analysis of the changes in the spending structure concerns all categories of households, classified according to the person acting as the head of household, in the years 2006-2014. These changes are evaluated not only from the point of view of their extent and development trends, but they are also evaluated in comparison with other monitored households. The detailed analysis monitoring the spending extent and the development of individual expense entries studies the average household and the household of employees in the years 2000-2014, with a subsequent prediction for years 2015 and 2016. For the households of self-employers, unemployed persons and pensioners (without economically active members), the analysis covers the changes in the spending extent in the years 2006-2014 and includes also the comparison of such changes in terms of the mentioned household types.
Analysis of tourism in selected region

This thesis analyzes the current status and trends of tourism in Prague. The analysis focuses on the current development of selected indicators in the framework of Prague in 2000 - 2015. Among the selected indicators include the number of guests in collective accommodation establishments, the number of overnight stays and accommodation facilities. It is also chosen Prague 5 objects for usage analysis. The selected objects are Prague Castle, Prague Zoo, Jewish Museum, Old Town Hall and the Petrin Tower. To determine the basic trends are used elemental characteristics of time series. Based on the obtained data is created estimate for the following years. To estimate these years using the straight trendy functions and simple exponential smoothing.
Analysis of tourism in selected region

My dissertation engages the analysis of tourist industry in selected area, Šumava during the years 2001-2014. Primarily are analysed the capacity of lafge-scale accommodation, which is devide on number of accommodations, rooms, beds, caravan places and tents. Also my dissertation analyses turnout of these aaccommodations and number of overnight stays of residents and not residents. Important part is also analysis of turnout the castles Rabí, Kašperk, Rožmberk nad Vltavou and Český Krumlov. I have used the data of the Czech statistical office and basic characteristic time row.
