Conflicting Custody within the ASLPC

This bachelor thesis is focused on a role of a social worker in a social and legal protection of children and describes its position in the judicial proceeding as the collision custodian. The collision custodian is appointed by the court in those cases when a child can not be represented by its legal representative within the judicial proceeding. This bachelor thesis is based on specialised literature, adequate laws and theoretical findings, as well on practical experiences in a particular judicial proceeding. The aim of this bachelor thesis is first to describe and define the function of the collision custodian, its legislative embeddedness and role, its rights and duties towards the court and the represented child, and its position in the judicial proceeding. Second, it is to place the theme of collision custody into wider circumstances, to show that its execution expands beyond judicial proceeding, and to show its connection with the social and legal protection of children. Domestic Violence - Focus on Aggressors

This bachelor ́s thesis deals with the issue of domestic violence and strives to describe why domestic violence represents a serious threat to families and society as a whole. It emphasises the importance of facing the problem of domestic violence in a comprehensive way: from the angle of victims as well as aggressors. Predominantly, the thesis focuses on perpetrators, aggressors, violent persons and individuals with behavioural problems. This field has been substantially neglected in the Czech Republic, and that is why this particular segment of persons was selected as the main subject. The thesis aims to develop a field study which would map a current status of work with this target group in our country. For the purpose of facing the issue of domestic violence, prevention of domestic violence as such and prevention of its relapse are equally crucial. However, the Czech Republic has a highly limited experience in treating aggressors and no literature and/or expert studies are available. Consequently, the practical part of this thesis is based on experience from abroad. Opinions General and Professional Public on People with Psychiatric Illness, Taking into Account the Activities of DPS Ondrejov

This study introduces Daily Psychotherapeutic Sanatorium Ondřejov. It reflects on the workings of the centre and its service delivery to its clients. Big attention is paid to all activities and programmes of this sanatorium. In my bachelor thesis, I used method of questionnaire to interview specific groups of people and their perception of mental illnesses. This is also the main subject of the practical part of my study. The main focus of the study are people with mental disorder, who are also the target group of the centre. In this work, I intend to accentuate DPS Ondřejov as a providor of effective help to people with psychiatric disorder, which is a widely spread phenomena today. The Burn-out Syndrome of the View of Social Workers of the Shelter Homes of the Citizen Association Naděje

This dissertation work is partly theoretical and partly a research, and deals with prevention of burn-out syndrome and its possible prevention in conditions of shelter homes. The attention is directed at the staff of a shelter home, i.e. workers in social services and social workers, which is a group that is directly exposed to the burn-out syndrome. The staff in question are the employees of several shelter homes of the Citizen Association Naděje in Prague. This work is divided into two parts - a theoretical part and an empirical part. The theoretical part of the work describes the burn-out syndrome - its description, its causes, syndromes and individual phases. Special attention is paid to the methods of preventing the burn- out syndrome, which include psycho-hygiene, supervision and various relaxation techniques and means which could inhibit the progress of this syndrome. An important part of this section is also a description of the environment of a shelter home and the recommended preventive measures, which, based on their application in a shelter home together with my studies of the relevant literature, I can recommend to strengthen the workers' professional competence in connection with the burn-out syndrome. The Problem of Alternate and Institutional Care

State has to ensure that the child shall not be separated from his or her parents against their will, except when competent authorities subjects to judicial review determine, in accordance with applicable law and producers, that such separation is necessary for the best interests of the child. Such determination may be necessary in a particular case such as one involving abuse or neglect of the child of the parents, or one where the parents are living separately and decision must be made to the child's place of resistence. State shall respect the rights of the children who are separated from one or both parents to maintain personal relations and direkct with both on a regular basis, except basis, except if it is contrary to the child's best interest. An Analysis of Social- educational Activities in the Educational Care Centre at Klíčov- Pontis

My work deals with the activity of Educational Care Centre Klíčov - PONTIS, which is residential section of preventive education for children and youth with behavioural disorders. It is the section 1 work as an educational worker assistant with specialization in sporting activities. The first part of my work, consisting of 3 chapters contains some basic facts and concepts connecting with social, psychological and behavioural disorders of our clients, with social-educational activity in general and also with the position of Educational Care Centers in the social support, care and education system. In the second part, consisting of 7 chapters I deal with the factual aims and with the educational system of our Centre. I also deal with the problems and questions the persons (workers and clients) in our Centre are confronted most often with.

In my bachelor thesis Stress in a life of a child - relaxation techniques and a possible use of swimming pool therapy while coping with the stressful situation the child's life I am describing the problem with stress in a life of a child and the possibility how to solve the problem using relaxation techniques, particularly swimming pool therapy. In more detail I describe the stress in general, its component parts, the period of stress, stressful factors, which the most of the children and youth are facing up during their adolescence or which they might be facing up, but also stress, which is caused by traumatic experience. I have focused on the prevention of the stress of children and on the use of techniques, which help to cope with these situations. The practical part of my bachelor thesis is devoted to the introduction of the method called swimming pool therapy and to the confirmation or negation of the hypothesis, that the relaxation technique - the swimming pool therapy - has according to the internal opinion of their parents an impact on coping with stressful situation in a child's life, which I have gathered from the research (questionnaire). The result of the research I describe by the help of verbal evaluation and objective graphs.
