A little overview of drought history of the Punkva River, focusing on the year 2018
Lejska, S. ; Kuda, František ; Kněžínek, K.
Since 2012, one can observe a decreasing trend in the water level of underground karst water in the Punkva River basin. In 2018, the discharge at LG Skalní Mlýn dropped to the lowest value in the last 60 years (75 l.s-1). This permitted a dry entry to the Lake Dome forming the inflow sump of the Punkva River to Bludiště Milana Šlechty (Milan Šlechta Labyrinth) in the confluence area of the Sloup Creek and the Bílá voda Creek, in the central part of the Amatérská Cave. The sump is adjacent to the Jezerní propast (LAke Abyss) The connection between these two locations had not been surveyed at that time, so our work group „Lake Abyss – inflow sump of the Punkva River“ scanned this section using a 3D scanner in August 2018.
Geodiversity, secondary geodiversity and cultural heritage
Kirchner, Karel ; Kubalíková, Lucie ; Kuda, František ; Havlíček, M. ; Machar, I. ; Pechanec, V.
Within the framework of the NAKI II project – Cultural heritage of landscape of the Archdiocese of Olomouc - research, presentation and management (DGB 16P02B014), we focus on the results that will contribute to the sustainable development of regional cultural identity through applied cultural heritage research in the cultural landscape of the area of interest. As part of the material cultural heritage, we include the landforms that originated from the conscious activity of man - the anthropogenic relief forms. These landforms complement the geodiversity of the landscape and are referred to as secondary geodiversity, their identification and interpretation will make it possible to complement and enhance the diversity of cultural heritage and to specify the development of the cultural landscape. The first results from the Archdiocese of Olomouc are presented.

The first results from the area of Central Moravia will be presented with the using of the historical maps, the digital model of the relief DMR5G and the field research.

Tourist interest in illicit zone of ice caves
Nováková, Eva ; Kuda, František ; Kubalíková, Lucie
Ledové sluje (Ice Caves) in the Podyjí National Park represents one of the most spectacular sites within the area. It consists of the large boulder field and several pseudokarst caverns on the north-western slope of the ridge that are very important from the ecological and geomorphological point of view. The access to the site is restricted for the visitors of National Park as there exists a risk of damage and disturbance of these unique phenomena, tourist can use the marked paths leading around the site, they can reach the top part of the ridge. Currently, there are only several persons who have legal access to the site (employees of the National Park Administration and other researches with the permission issued by NP Administration). However, the installed sensor that counts the passages proved that the site is visited more frequently than it should be. The number of people who visit this site (situated within the first zone of National Park where there is no marked path and so the access is forbidden by decree) is quite alarming. Based on these findings, some proposals for the solution of this unfavourable situation are proposed and other possibilities how to avoid this undesirable phenomenon are discussed.\n

Bílá voda Creek swirling through the Bludiště, or, what happens when the Panský rybník Pond becomes discharged
Lejska, S. ; Kuda, František ; Kněžínek, K. ; Divíšek, Jan
At the end of the year 2015, the Panský pond on Bílá voda Creek was let out and this event provided us to observe the flow of the Bílá voda Creek through the Amatérská Cave. The Bílá voda Creek entered dry river bed in the cave and we recorded new data regarding conjunction of Bílá voda Creek and Sloup Creek in Bludiště (Labyrinth) M. Šlechty. This event enabled us to definitely confirm the assumption that Bílá voda Creek commonly enters Bludiště M. Šlechty in area of Jádro (Core), if not above.

The present report represents the 1st outcome of research project “The optimization of forest management strategies on slopes endangered by landslides and rock falling – a methodology for forest-planting practices”. Submitted report is search of published and unpublished data relating to geomorphological, geological and landscape aspects of origin as well as distribution of the landslides and rock falling to the forest management.
Hydrological research and 3D laser scanning of confluence area of Sloup Creek and Bílá voda Creek in Amatérská cave
Lejska, S. ; Kuda, František ; Kněžínek, K. ; Divíšek, Jan
The aim of the paper is to introduce to the wider speleological community our research of hydrological proportions in the Amatérská Cave in the period from 2009 to 2014. The main outcome of our research in the Amatérská Cave is to set up 3D model of the confluence area of the Punkva River sources in the Bludiště M. Šlechty and its wider surroundings. Therefore we carry out 3D mapping of cave passages by laser scanner since 2013.
Technical report on the processing of the underlying data from GNSS and terrestrial laser scanning for the geophysical survey Pravčická brána in 2014
Kuda, František
Ústav geoniky AV ČR v. v. i., realizoval pro firmu KolejConsult & servis (KCAS) v rámci objednávky č. 11/2015 v průběhu měsíců září - listopad 2015 rozšířené zpracování dat pozemního laserového skenování útvaru Pravčické brány z roku 2014.
Technical Report of terrestrial laser scanning foundations gallows near Lomnice
Kuda, František
Ústav geoniky AV ČR, v. v. i. realizoval v rámci vědecko-výzkumné činnosti dne 13. 4. 2015 terénní zaměření základů šibenice u obce Lomnice na vrchu Šibeniční horka (Obr. 1) technologií 3D pozemního laserového skenování. Cílem bylo zachycení dochovaných základů šibenice a okolní topografické situace za účelem dokumentace aktuálního stavu lokality a pořízení podkladových materiálů pro následné vytvoření virtuálního modelu šibenice.
