Reprodukční užitkovost prasat
Klimeš, Jan
The bacherol thesis is a summary of literature sources concerning reproductive yield of pigs, focusing on sows. The thesis discusses the current reproductive situation in the Czech Republic, the zootechnical measures related to the rearing of piglets and the issues related to reproduction of sows. In addition, it deals with factors influencing the reproductive yield of pigs with division into external and internal factors. As far as the external factors are concerned, nutrition, housing and stock management are discussed in more detail. Furthermore, lighting and climatic conditions are mentioned. As far as the internal factors are concerned, thesis focuses for example on breed, heritable disposition, length of the interlude, average birthweight of piglets at birth, health condition and theothers. Finally, there are several examples and possibilities/opportunities to optimize reproductive yield focusing on health, housing and nutrition in the thesis.
Slope stability in the environs of glaciers in world high mountains
Honzejková, Andrea ; Novotný, Jan (advisor) ; Klimeš, Jan (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with the collection of examples, information and data concerning the slope instability around the glaciers of the high mountains of the world. The introductory part introduces the main problems that occur in these areas and which primarily affect slope movements. To understand these processes, the thesis characterizes slope movements and conditions that provoke them. High mountains are found on most continent, such as the Andes, the Himalayas, the Tien-Shan, the Alps, the Caucasus. In the last part of the thesis are mentioned individual examples of slope instability. Keyword: landslide, rock fall, debris flow, GLOFs, glacier, glacier lake
Filtering of denial-of-service attacks
Klimeš, Jan ; Blažek, Petr (referee) ; Gerlich, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with filtering selected DDoS attacks on denial of the service. The the toretical part deals with the problems of general mechanisms used for DDoS attacks, defense mechanisms and mechanisms of detection and filtration. The practical part deals with the filtering of attacks using the iptables and IPS Suricata firewall on the Linux operating system in an experimental workplace using a network traffic generator to verify its functionality and performance, including the statistical processing of output data from filter tools using the Elasticsearch database.
The analysis of geomorphological pronunciation of neotectonics on Cordillera Blanca faults
Burkytová, Šárka ; Vilímek, Vít (advisor) ; Klimeš, Jan (referee)
The study deals with analysis of of geomorphological pronunciation of neotectonics along the based on fault slope in the South American Cordillera Blanca range. It contains research about physical-geographycal characteristic of the mountain range with the focus on geology, geomorphology and the theoretical concept of forms on fault slopes and neotectonic acitivity. In the practical part of the thesis, the selected area of the mountain range was mapped using Google Earth imagery. On the base of created map the forms associated with the active tectonic uplift of the Cordillera Blanca were analyzed and invented. Then the longitudinal profiles of rivers that flow across the fault zone were created and analyzed from the digital terrain model. The block structure of the mountain range was analyzed too. Keywords Cordillera Blanca, geomorphology, morphometry, neotectonics, Peru
Landslide susceptibility analysis of Czechia
Racek, Ondřej ; Blahůt, Jan (advisor) ; Klimeš, Jan (referee)
In geosciences modelling is rather quickly developing discipline. Statistical modelling of landslide susceptibility is relatively more traditional approach. Nevertheless, more complicated statistical methods are being developed and applied on larger areas. This development is caused especially by increasing computational capacity and software. This diploma thesis summarises existing statistical landslide susceptibility modelling approaches. In the following part, several landslide susceptibility models were created for the area of Czechia. These models were created using logistic regression, naive Bayes and artificial neural network (ANN). Additionally, two more models were created using expert driven approach. All models were made using thirteen conditioning factors, i.e.elevation, slope, engineering geological regions, climatic areas, mean annual precipitation, topographic wetness index (TWI), aspect, orogenetic class, distance from confirmed fault, distance from watercourse, internal relief, land cover and slope shape. Models driven by statistical approach were created using Orange software. Landslide inventories that were used for construction of all models are based on two databases: "Registr svahových nestabilit" and "Registr sesuvů-Geofond". Using validation by SRC, PRC and ROC curves...

Morphostructural analysis of Ethiopian Highland based on remote sensing
Kusák, Michal ; Vilímek, Vít (advisor) ; Klimeš, Jan (referee) ; Novotný, Ján (referee)
- Morphostructural analysis of Ethiopian Highland based on remote sensing The morphometric analysis of lineaments, valleys and signs of erosion taken from a digital elevation model (DEM) made it possible to not only confirm most of the conclusions of the morphotectonic development of the area from the previously published results of structural, petrological, tectonic and geochronological analyses from the Ethiopian Highlands, but to also to expand our knowledge by applying several new hypotheses. Faults, lineaments and valleys are predominantly oriented in a direction compatible to the published concepts of the tectonic development of the area. Overall, the most abundant NE-SW and NNE-SSW lines reflect a change of extension from a NW-SE to WNW-ESE direction during the Pliocene (~40ř rotation), in relation to the creation and development of the Main Ethiopian Rift. The most pronounced morphological manifestations of the extension of the MER and western Afar during the Quaternary are confined to the borders of the MER, and the maximum SOLR values indicate a very short-lived effect of the stress field on the development of the landscape. The directions of the Pre-Neogene rift structures to the NW-SE and WNW-ESE are compatible with the oldest elements of the current landscape, i.e. the most developed...
