Computational analysis of high lift devices loads for L410 aircraft and its comparison to experimental data
Florián, Martin ; Koutník, Tomáš (referee) ; Doupník, Petr (advisor)
The computational model design of a twin-engine, turbo-propeller, commuter aircraft and its two landing configuration analysis is the subject of the Master‘s thesis. The solution contents calibration part, creation of a computational mesh, global aerodynamics characteristics definition and detailed high lift devices load of L410 NG aircraft. The acquired results are compared to wind tunnel data. The comparison of accuracy and advantages of CFD is involved as well.
Conductor - Partner
Mimrová, Jana ; KOUTNÍK, Tomáš (advisor) ; FARKAČ, Hynek (referee)
The conductor’s cooperation with the soloist is an essential and indispensable part of the conductor's profession, not only in the domain of conducting the opera but also in the area of conducting the symphony orchestra. The second part is dedicated to this work, with a specific analysis of the work from the concert, in which the author touched his own experience of working with soloists.
High-lift system of the competition model aircraft
Vrba, Martin ; Koštial, Rostislav (referee) ; Koutník, Tomáš (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis is focused on compiling a summary of lift mechanization, at both the leading and the trailing edges used on plane models and unmanned means of transport. It briefly explains their principles and functions. It describes the method of calculation of the flight mode design of the competing aircraft according to the specifications of the Air Cargo Challenge competition.
The work of conductor in section of wind instruments
Spilka, Vít ; KOUTNÍK, Tomáš (advisor) ; SVÁROVSKÝ, Leoš (referee)
These bachelor thesis are focused on work of conductor in wind intruments section as a part of symfonic orchestra. Thesis creates complex of important information for work with sections of wind instruments, individual chapters are looked for solution in branch of tuning, balance of sound, instrumentation, acoustics of concert hall together with methodology approach to winds as a whole. First chapter is focused on different systems of tuning and its suitable application in music working. In second chapter is described characteristic of wind instruments and its particularity including acoustic and design attributes. The third chapter is aimed to methodology of winds: tuning, balance of the sound, rhytmical precision, position of musicians at the stage atc. The fourth chapter deals with field of instrumentation and contains examples of its solution. The fifth chapter is written as a reflection on acoustics of concert halls including of balance of the sound.
Modern flow visualization techniques
Pištěcká, Kateřina ; Koutník, Tomáš (referee) ; Popela, Robert (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor thesis is an overview of the flow visualization methods applied in the wind tunnels and fly tests. An overview of flow visualization methods is presented in the first part of the work. The particular methods are presented and evaluated with respect of its complexity, requirements on the instrumentation and expanses. The pros and cons are mentioned for each method finally. The second part of the work deals with selection of the flow visualization method suitable for application in the wind tunnel of the Aeronautical department of the VUT Brno.
Flap otpitmization for SKYLEADER aircraft
Kácal, Jan ; Vaněk, František (referee) ; Koutník, Tomáš (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on optimization of the flap for the ultralight aircraft Skyleader JA 600, which is produced by the Jihlavan s.r.o. company. Individual types of flaps used in ultralight aircrafts are described in the initial phase of the thesis. In addition, description of the plane of interest Skyleader has been conducted, while along with the basic characteristics the focus is mainly on its wing and flap. The thesis continues with detailed CFD method calibration task, which is mostly focused on the basic turbulent models comparison. The optimization task conducted within this diploma thesis includes CFD calculations to determine aerodynamic characteristics of the flap provided by Jihlavan company, and subsequent determination of its optimal position. An important part of this thesis is also evaluation of the load and strength of the flap in previously determined optimal position. At the end, the strength and fly tests of the flap in the new position are described.
Competition aircraft wing tips
Zima, Martin ; Koutník, Tomáš (referee) ; Doupník, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deal with wing tip design of airplane for competition. Airplane named FabricK I is design for Air Cargo Challenge competition. The first part of bachelor thesis is focused on description of competition and flight aircraft modes. Hereafter are compared the types of wing tips. Most suitable wing tip is then applied on FabricK I.
Akira Ifukube: Sinfonia Tapkaara and its interpretive stance
Iwasaki, Chuhei ; SVÁROVSKÝ, Leoš (advisor) ; KOUTNÍK, Tomáš (referee)
This work focuses on the interpretation of one of most known pieces in Japan. Akira Ifukube is known more as a film composer, but he also wrote great symphonic works, and Sinfonia Tapkaara is one of his most popular performed pieces. I also looked into the life of the composer A. Ifukube and the current affairs at that time in Hokkaido.
