Secure Transport Protocol for System Monitoring
Halfar, Patrik ; Ščuglík, František (referee) ; Matoušek, Petr (advisor)
This paper deals with NetFlow protocol and analysis of its properties. There is focused on confidentiality and reliability of the data's transfer. All of the solution observe requirements for lower resources of devices, and impossibility of changes in the exporter except defined parameters.
Hiding Data in Computer Networks
Hrebíček, Martin ; Halfar, Patrik (referee) ; Polčák, Libor (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with hiding data in the Internet traffic. It contains a description of the law interception. Various possibilities of hiding data are mentioned. The practical part of this thesis consists of an application that hides the data of HTTP and HTTPS protocols in a fake VoIP call. The application consists of two parts: a client and a server. Data transmitted between the client and the server parts are masked as multimedia data of the VoIP call. When a user or Internet server does not transmit any data, random data are transmitted between client and server parts in order to simulate the VoIP call. Then, the thesis focuses on detection of the attack.
Computer Identification Based on Its Network Behaviour
Myška, Michal ; Halfar, Patrik (referee) ; Polčák, Libor (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with computer identification using network behavioral patterns. Security functions providing privacy are described together with user privacy threats. Then, several approaches to the computer identification based on network behaviour are described. The proposed tool is based on data mining method Multinomial Naive Bayes. Then, the implementation of proposed tool is described and the experiments recognizing success in the identification are performed.
Secure Neighbor Discovery Protocol
Bezdíček, Lukáš ; Halfar, Patrik (referee) ; Grégr, Matěj (advisor)
This report deals with designing and implementing of a complete SEND protocol for operating systems GNU/Linux. The first part of the document contains a description of ND and SEND protocols. The second part of the document defines security threats connected with unsecured ND. The third part of the report describes a design and implementation of SEND protocol named sendd . Conclusion of the document is dedicated to a summary of accomplished results and information about future development of this project.
Recursive IPC Network Architecture: Analyze and Model of Enrollment
Jeřábek, Kamil ; Marek, Marcel (referee) ; Halfar, Patrik (advisor)
This thesis is focused on analysis of the Enrollment and integration of this phase to model of Recursive InterNetwork Architecture (RINA) that is developed in the OMNeT++ simulation environment. In this thesis is the RINA architecture described generally. Furthermore, there are listed cases of the Enrollment and the Common Application Connection Establishement Phase, and it is described when starts and ends. The thesis is especially focused on design and implemntation of these phases of communication in the OMNeT++ simulation environment within Pristine project.
