Secure data connection over an insecure public network infrastructure
Kořínek, Petr ; Halbich, Čestmír (advisor) ; Vasilenko, Alexandr (referee)
In the theoretical part, the short history of the formation and functional description switched networks. I devote a lot of attention to network protocols used in the practical part. Composition body frames and packets, especially content of their heads. In the practical part deals with the design of the physical model of interconnections and configuration of its active elements. Following are tests of functionality and a maximum load of line with the current state of measurement CPU routers. Evaluation of tests, I set the appropriate configuration elements. I performed tests achieved data throughput solution 75Mbit / s. The benefit of this work are the possibilities arising from the use of throughput protocols on the second layer.
Web Analytics - Development of web applications for managing accounts in Google Analytics
Aldorf, Marek ; Halbich, Čestmír (advisor) ; Tyrychtr, Jan (referee)
The first part deals with particular knowledge about web analytics and issues connected with web analytics such as segmentation, cookies, metrics, dimensions, KPIs, and lastly, gives an analytical tool Google Analytics. This bachelor thesis describes implementation of the tracking code to setting a basic structure of the instrument in terms of the account and the application interface. The practical part is focused on creating a web application to manage accounts in Google Analytics. Creation is described from graphic and wireframe design to launching the application in a browser. The contribution of this work is especially for new users of Google Analytics, saving time by several days. This is the automation of setting up filters by created application that can handle a few seconds to upload filters to the selected Google Analytics account, preformed filters, which resolves duplicates, SPAM bots and transparency of data.
Security technology: Honeypot
Buriánek, Adam ; Halbich, Čestmír (advisor) ; Radomír, Radomír (referee)
The result of the thesis is to characterize the safety technology honeypots, presentation of their capability to monitor security attacks, finding motivation of the attackers and their techniques. The theoretical part of solving the problems of the thesis is based on the study and analysis of mostly foreign expert information resources. The practical part is based on the specification and implementation of the most famous Honeypot on the Internet and the subsequent analysis of logs. The benefit of the thesis are the results that have been offered and the network security specialists for analysis and automatic recording of threats to records third-party servers.
Digital footprint on own computer and the Internet
Růžička, Jan ; Halbich, Čestmír (advisor) ; Pavlík, Jan (referee)
The objective of this bachelor's degree paper is to evidence the negative impact and potential losses associated with unmanaged personal information sharing on the internet and then to provide solutions as to how to mitigate potential threats. This paper first addresses the definition of the digital footprint and its impact before describing in the Second Chapter the potential risks that are connected with leaving an unmanaged digital footprint. In order to investigate the levels of willingness of internet users to share their personal and private information I utilized a Questionnaire to interpret their understanding of privacy, risks associated with loss of privacy, identity theft and the levels of protection they adopt whilst being online. The final part of this Paper describes various means of personal data protection and how to mitigate, manage and minimize one's own digital track.
Virtualisation tools in theory and practice
Petrbok, Lukáš ; Halbich, Čestmír (advisor) ; Vaněk, Jiří (referee)
The bachelor thesisi deals with the using virtuliazion on personal computer, where this technology has also use. It defines all possible types of virtualization from emulation after full virtualization. It also characterizes new technology Docker which use software containers. The practical parts evaluates four virtualization platforms for operating system Ubuntu. And it is like after funcitional page, so like primarily after performance page using test focused mainly on performance of central procesing unit, but also on read and write speed on hard disk and operating memory. In the end of work is recommended virtualization platform, but decision is not clear and it depends on user requests.
OS Google Chrome - theory and practice
Sosna, Marek ; Halbich, Čestmír (advisor) ; Vaněk, Jiří (referee)
This thesis is focused on operating system Google Chrome, create simple application using the programming language Javascript and its subsequent distribution. The paper set out important characteristics of the system. The theoretical part deals with the historical development of society, followed by the dismantling of the architecture of the operating system. Further, a description of the advantages and drawbacks of Chrome OS. Following the issue of who is in charge of the security system. Completion of the theoretical part is dedicated to creating apps for Google Chrome OS. The practical part demonstrates and expands the theoretical part in the development of application Body Mass Index calculator. In this part of the work is described in detail subsequent distribution of applications in the Chrome Web Store.
Java applications - theory and practice
Slabý, Milan ; Halbich, Čestmír (advisor) ; Lohr, Václav (referee)
Bachelor's thesis is thematically focused on the problem of application development in the Java programming language and can be divided into two main parts: theoretical and practical. In the beginning of the theoretical part is described the history and development of the language, its brief characteristics, description of the individual versions of the language and editions of Java. The second half of the theoretical part is focused on more detailed analysis of selected syntactic elements of the Java language. The practical part is represented by a desktop application enabling the testing members of fire departments of the voluntary firefighters. The whole application is written in Java and its main aim is to show possible solutions to problems in specific cases and demonstrate the practical application of the elements of the language described in the theoretical part.
Aplikace Android - Theory and Practice
Kalamár, Dominik ; Halbich, Čestmír (advisor) ; Lohr, Václav (referee)
The theoretical part is aimed at acquainting the reader with the Android operating system and application development for it. Furthermore, the readers are generally acquainted with the history and the subsequent course of development of this platform in form of updates. It also shortly discuss the major competitors of Android, which are iOS and Windows Phone. The end of the theoretical part introduces readers to the official Android Stu-dio development environment and one of its alternatives the App Inventor 2. In the practical part, there is captured design and the subsequent development of two samples of similar applications, on developed in Android Studio and the second one developed in App Inventor 2. In the end of this thesis is evaluated difficulty of creating an application in different development environments, and also the robustness of options, that each of this environments provides.
Aplikace android - theory and practice
Křečková, Johana Emma ; Halbich, Čestmír (advisor) ; Vostrovský, Václav (referee)
This bachelor's dissertation is about an application for Android. It's described from both a theoretical and practical point of view. The primary aim is to characterize the issues of developing android applications. This includes characterization of the Android platform, development tools, making the application in JAVA programming language and distribution of that application. This bachelor's dissertation is divided into two parts- theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes the architecture of Android platform (the division into different levels and the description of the separate segments, such as the core, libraries and Android runtime). Additionally, the theoretical part includes a list of development tools and their characterization. These tools are very useful for the development. The practical part is focused on developing the specific application. In this bachelor's dissertation all screens are described first from the functional point of view and then from the point of view of their design. Finally there is the code description of the screens. This is divided into two parts: the code description of design and the code description of functions. Aside from the screens there is also a description of classes and functions which are used in more than one screen.
OS Google Chrome - theory and practice
Grus, Michal ; Halbich, Čestmír (advisor) ; Brechlerová, Dagmar (referee)
This bachelor thesis is thematically focused on the operating system Chrome OS from Google Inc. In the theoretical part, the Chrome OS is introduced and at the same time it is compared with its open source version called Chromium OS. Next, there is a description of the system architecture and security. After that the thesis deals with the description of the user interface and it analyzes possible usage of this operating system, where it would be the most suitable. The end of the theoretical part deals with the issue of programming applications for the Chrome OS. In the practical part of this thesis there is detailed description of developing sample JavaScript application with all necessary components for its distribution, together with the description how the distribution of applications works and then evaluates a week taking stay of the sample application at the Chrome Web Store.
