The bachelor's thesis is focused on the design and implementation of a prototype device that is to be used to monitor fermentation processes in the food industry using thermodynamic sensors. The work contains a brief description of fermentation processes in the food industry and also possible methods of their monitoring. It also deals with the principle of the thermodynamic sensor and the description of the ESP32 microcontroller, which is the core of the prototype. Subsequently, it deals with the design of a prototype, including a program for ESP32, which is able to monitor the fermentation process using a pair of thermodynamic sensors and send the measured data to the cloud service ThingSpeak, to a personal computer or store them in Flash memory. Furthermore, the work deals with testing in experimental measurements, in which fermentation processes were monitored with the prototype.
The gas level measuring device with a capillary made by 3-D printing
Halva, Ondřej ; Búran, Martin (referee) ; Adámek, Martin (advisor)
This thesis is concerned with the experimental design, manufacture, and testing of a 3D printed prototype of a capillary. The aim is to introduce the reader to the issue of 3D printing related to the manufacture of capillaries and focus on chemiresist sensors. Furthermore, the features of microcontroller Atmel Atmega2560 and its applications in sensory technology will be described. In the second part of the thesis, the capillary for sample pre-processing with an output to a gas measuring device with an electrochemical sensor is designed and produced. For the control of the device, the Atmel Atmega 2560 microcontroller is to be used and the device must enable data transfer to PC. The possible applications of the capillary are to be evaluated.
Integration of laser ablation into the workflows of FIB-SEM systems
Delayering of semiconductor chips
Valachovič, Marek ; Adámek, Martin (referee) ; Búran, Martin (advisor)
This work describes the individual layers of whitch the semiconductor chip is composed, the types of packages in witch it can be encapsulated and the methods of connecting the chip with the package. Furthermore, the methods of dacapsulating the encapsulated chip and delayering using several different methods, such as mechanical, chemical, plasmatic, or using an focused ion beam, are describe here. The methods of mechanical and chemical delayering of the layers of the semiconductor chip togeaher with dalayering by focused ion beam with the help of gas are practically performed and recorded.
Innovation of device for mealworms breeding
Dvorský, Adam ; Búran, Martin (referee) ; Adámek, Martin (advisor)
The task of the work was to get familiar to the reader with the possibilities and conditions of edible insect breeding in the Czech Republic, focusing on a selected species of darkling beetle (Tenebrio molitor). Design optimization of breeding conditions for different stages of breeding, with the possibility of accelerating breeding. Another part of the work was to get acquainted with the properties of the microcontroller series Espressif ESP32 and its use in the areas of simple product management. From these identified conditions, a breeding station was designed and gradually implemented in the second half of the work, which was controlled by this microcontroller company Espressif ESP32. The work describes the proposed components for measuring and regulating breeding conditions with a focus on temperature, humidity, food and fluid dosing. The penultimate chapter mentions experimental measurements of regulated conditions with evaluation of measured data. The conclusion is the evaluation of the solution and its other possibilities.
Innovation of experimental e-nose for odor analysis in the food industry
Janošíková, Pavla ; Búran, Martin (referee) ; Adámek, Martin (advisor)
This work deals with innovation of the program for processing data acquired from sensory device known as electronic nose. The work introduces possibilities and utilization of a electronic nose. Furthermore it introduces some of the best known analysis for odor recognition that are used mainly in the food industry focusing on principal component analysis. The work focus on creation of mobile application that process data from a simple electronic nose and on improvement of ammonia and CO2 measurement accuracy. The program must also allow wireless data reception, their processing and storage.
Optimization And Investigation Of The Free Air Ball Formation Of The Gold Wire Bond
Búran, Martin
This paper deals with Free air ball (FAB) formation and its optimization. It is part of the thermocompression of the thermosonic wire bonding process. This paper consists of a theoretical introduction to the topic and specific technological steps that is crucial for correct FAB formation. Technological parameters that can have an impact on the FAB formation process were analyzed. These are for example power of the electric discharge, length of the wire tail or protective atmosphere in the case of corrosive materials of the wire. The impact of these parameters on the quality of the reliability of the FAB and the wire-bonded joint were evaluated. At the end of this paper is a recommendation for the optimization of the wire bonding process for the small amount of the semiconductor chips.
Sensor for long-term control of food quality
Navara, Róbert ; Búran, Martin (referee) ; Adámek, Martin (advisor)
This final thesis focuses on the problems related to the lifespan of food and it’s monitoring. The first chapter is focused on the food businesses and on the creation of system HACCP which those businesses need to implement. Next chapter talks about factors which have the biggest impact on the lifespan of meat. The chapter about technologies used for monitoring of health safety of food talks about most used and most viable sensing tags used for this purpose. The following chapter describes microcontroller ESP32, it’s pros, it’s cons and it’s programmability. The practical part revolves around the realization of a printed circuit board, fitted with a microcontroler ESP32, a relative humidity and temperature sensor HDC1080 and an ammonia sensor MiCS-6814, which as a whole along with designed firmware and software work as a sensor tag, which is capable of measuring, saving and exporting data based on a configuration of an user.
