Socially Activating Services for Families with Children

The aim of this bachelor thesis was to find out a benefit of Socially Activating Services for Families with Children with autism spectrum disorders. Into account were taken points of view of parents with children with autism spectrum disorders, social workers and social service workers. In the theoretical part, the basic terms was defined. The terms included informations about autism spectrum disorders, families with children with autism spectrum disorders and socially activating services for families with children with autism spectrum disorders. In the practical part, the research question, dealing a benefit of socially activating services for families with children with autism was answered. Partial research questions tried to map the benefits of individual social activities of socially activating services for families with children with autism spectrum disorders. Specifically they included education and activation activities, social therapeutic activities and social skills training. The method of interviewing by means of half-structured interview, as well as qulitative research strategy were chosen ro the research. The analysis of the data was made with the use of clustering. The research sets were chosen with the help of purposed choice. The first research set consisted of 6 parents and the second one consited of 2 social workers and 2 social service workers fulfilling the predetermined choosing criteria. The research showed the main benefits of the Socially Activating Services for Families with Children with autism spectrum disorders: families gets help in every situation, child development, touch with other families, parents can share their worries and can consult with other families and feeling they are not alone. With using the street work it seems to be beneficial, because the child learns in a natural environment, uses the acquired skills in practice, the child learns the skills of the day, the family gains new experiences but also free time. According to opinion of parents main benefits of educational and activation activities were contact with other children, child development, adaptation to noise, contact with other parents, involvement of siblings in activities and rest for the parents during activities. The interviewed social workers and social services workers listed as the main benefits of educational and activation activities: resting for families, establishing and maintaining social contact, learning skills for everyday life, better communication, developing motor skills, and the fact that he family is integrated into society. According to opinion of parents, the main benefits of social therapeutic activities were finding the right way with the therapist, knowing that everything can be solved, sharing worries and calming inner. The interviewed social social workers listed as the main benefits of social therapeutic activites: supporting families with each other, reducing stress and developing the child in the social field. There are the main benefits of the social skills training according to opinion of parents of children with autism spectrum disorders: free time for parents, learning tolerance in children, children adapting, learning with imitation, learning cooperation, being part of collective, improving communication and applying skills in practice. There are the main benefits of the social skills training for family and their children with autism spectrum disorders according to opinion of social workers and social service workes: free time for parents, parents can use group counseling of social skills training, seeing the progress of the child and the children learn to express their needs and especially control their emotions. The bachelor thesis will serve as a feedback for the staff of Občanské sdružení ProCit, z.s. about the meaningfulness and the quality of the social activating activities.
Occurrence and symptoms of adulf ADHD in patients with eating disorders.

Introduction: Recently published reviews and meta-analytic studies have shown increased interest in research of the ADHD and ED comorbidity. We conducted a case-control study (133 ED female patients/93 healthy control), screening for ED among ADHD patients (N=64) and a pilot study of a support group program for adults with ADHD and psychiatric comorbidities. Methods: Adult and childhood ADHD symptoms were assessed by self-report and other- report versions of a Barkley Adult ADHD questionnaire (BAARS-IV). Patients with ED and ADHD comorbidity underwent a structured interview (DIVA 2) and Integrated Visual and Auditory Performance Tests (IVA Plus) to confirm the ADHD diagnosis. Participants of the pilot program were assessed prior to and after the therapy by the Schwartz Outcome Scale (SOS) and Quality of life (SQUALA) questionnaires. Results: Using self-report questionnaire of current symptoms 61 (46 %) of ED patients were detected as likely having ADHD compared to 22 (24 %) from a healthy control group, 37 (28 % ) of ED patients were identified with the high probability of ADHD diagnose compared to 12 (13 %) from a healthy control group with significant differences. Stigmatization of mentally ill from the depression and anxiety patients' point of view

The thesis is a study of mentally ill patients with depression and anxiety and their view on stigmatization in contemporary czech society. The thesis introduces the problematice in the context of current political precautions and research including comparison with abroad studies. It points out the current state of psychiatric care in the Czech republic and destigmatizing activities which aim to change this state. Based on ten interviews with patients with diagnosed depression or anxiety, the thesis shows that the stigmatization in case of these patients is not seen in such nature, as defined by literature. The participants experience large scale of negative reactions, however many of them do not meet definitions of stigmatizing attitudes. Their experience with stigma is different in different parts of their life, partly based on whether the people close to them have a previous experience with mental illness or not. The fear of stigmatization is present more often than the stigmatization itself. The participants point out the low awareness of the public considering the stigmatization of mental illness, however they do not participate in destigmatizing activities in any way. The bachelor thesis deals with WHEELTAINER, a company which is based in Le Havre, France. This firm is focused on road container transport. At the place where the company is located, it is already very well known and this company would therefore be expanded. In my thesis, I will analyze the current state of the company and the possible extension of this one. I will present the theoretical knowledge in the first part. In the second part, I will do the specific analyzes and suggestions.
"Hipster" Tote Bag Wearers and their Fashion World

Tereza Štěpánková "Hipster" tote bag wearers and their fashion world Abstract This bachelor thesis deals with the "hipster" tote bag wearers, their fashion world and the role of the terms hipster and style in their life. The goal of the thesis is to find out, if the wearers of the tote bag can be compared to expert definitions of hipster or if there are any special regularities to describe at all. The thesis is composed of four parts, the theoretical part is an introduction to sociology of fashion, style, selfpresentation with citation of Georg Simmel, Erving Goffman and others. For the reason, that hipster is in some definitions considered a subculture, the term subculture is defined, as are the terms related to it. In the second chapter the term hipster itself and its problematic definition are argued with support of contemporary literature. The methodological part is a description of the research process and data collection. The content of the analytical part is formed by interview data interpreted in context of chosen theoretical theses. Three subchapters were formed in the analytical part based on the data, which present the outcome and answers to the research questions.
