Ecology in lighting
Špidlík, Jan ; Štěpánek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Krbal, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is focused on introduction to ecology in lighting technology. There are briefly described individual light sources and chemical substance used in the manufacture of components. For clarity is amount of toxic mercury in each light source displayed in well-arranged picture. Thesis is also focused on the influence of lighting technology in the environment and impact on the ecosystem. Closer look is made upon influence of mercury on environment and human life and also overall influence of mining metals and its devastating consequences for ecosystem. This work also deals with post processing of light sources by collective systems.
Methods of ignition spark gaps
Pekárek, Dominik ; Štěpánek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Krbal, Michal (advisor)
This thesis deals with methods of spark gap ignition. The thesis describes spark gap ignition by external electrode, by Rogowski electrode and by lasers. Advantages and disadvantages of these methods are also discussed. In the final part of the thesis there is described experiment with high voltage spark gap.
Measuring of parameters dimmable LED sources
Kubeša, Radek ; Štěpánek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Baxant, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the dimmable LED light sources. The theoretical part at the beginning is devoted to the light and the basic photometric quantities, analyzes the light sources and their parametres. It also describes the operating principle of LEDs, construction, power, and control the brightness of LED light sources. The practical part is focused on the measurement and evaluation of operating parameters selected samples of LED light sources.
Employment - the Creation, Modification, Termination
Štěpánek, Jan ; Kubová, Jitka (referee) ; Musilová, Helena (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with a summary of information on the establishment, modification and termination of employment under the laws of the Czech Republic. At the same time analyses the current situation ande tries to suggest possible changes that could lead to the improvement of the current situation or solve problems related with.
Degradation of liquid insulators for high voltage
Komárek, Filip ; Štěpánek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Krbal, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with measurement of liquid insulators. Mainly it deals with diagnostic tests of transformer oil. Diagnostic tests are needed to identify oil status and to determine the parameters of the oil. The status of the used oil determines its type of degradation and progress of degradation. For the determination of degradation it is necessary to know the composition of the essential oil, to determine how it has changed the structure of the oil and the oil did not contain before use. To determine the basic electrical properties of the oil are used in diagnostic tests such as dielectric strength and dissipation factor. This work is in addition to a summary of diagnostic tests observation of mineral oil with an unknown degree of degradation and behavior of impurities in mineral oil once the electric field.
Design of lighting system in high school
Borůvka, Jan ; Štěpánek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Škoda, Jan (advisor)
The theoretical part is focused on lights, notions and calculations in the area of light technology, basic lightning sources and lamps. This work is also about the principle of lightning measuring. The main aim of the work is design of a new artificial lightning system in a High school agriculture in Prerov. At first, the control measuring of existing lightning was done which is mentioned in this work. From the results of control measuring is clear, that existing lighting system in classroom does not suit requirements, which are mentioned in the valid technical norm. Design of a new lightning system meets the requirements in all of the rooms in the building of school. Design of lightning system was done in two variants. The first variant uses lamps with fluorescent tube light sources. The second variant uses lamps with LED light sources. Also is here evaluated financial difficulty of possible installation and comparation of each variants with respect energetic difficulty.
Analyzing of measured solar spectrum
Štěpánek, Jakub ; Křivík, Petr (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the definition of solar lights for solar purposes and solar simulators. These concepts are presented and described in detail. The theoretical part is described below chapter explaining the possibilities of using solar energy phototherapy. The next section follows the issue of standards and their podnorem AM, describes in detail the direct and diffuse light component. In connection continues with IEC 60904, IEC 60904-3 and IEC 60904-9, differences in purpose and use. The thesis describes the problems of the methods of analysis of the solar spectrum as defined in IEC 60904-9. In the penultimate chapter we discuss all light sources, their properties and uses. They navyzují selected light sources used in this work, as well as descriptions and color filters designed for measurement and subsequent evaluation in the practical part. The last chapter analyzes used measuring instruments, their advantages and disadvantages. In the practical part, we describe a method for measuring real-world light spectra, determining compliance with these spectra spectra AM 1.5 and the necessity to generate data from IEC 60904-3. Another part allows measured data to see in an understandable form and must include an assessment and assignment of the data set into classes according to AM 1.5.
Data glove: VRML visualization and design of electronic circuits
Štěpánek, Jan ; Bezdíček, Milan (referee) ; Grepl, Robert (advisor)
This work deals with designing and assembly of electronics of a data glove and creation of a hand visualization which projects a real-time state of user’s hand. Realization was a team effort of two students. The division of tasks is described in the chapter called Stanovení cílů práce. The beginning of the work is dedicated to a background research in the field of data gloves. Next chapters describe creation of the model of virtual hand. This model‘s task is to project real-time state of user’s hand based on data received from the flexure sensors and MEMS accelerometer. Communication with PC is realized through BlueTooth serial port virtualization. Mathematical model created in Matlab processes data received from the glove and calculates the values of the positions of the individual parts of hand. Matlab also served for development of a graphical user interface which enables the user to utilize the glove.
