CERIF - Common European Research Information Format: An Introduction
Dvořák, Jan
CERIF (Common European Research Information Format) is the model of the research domain. It includes the base entities of Publication, Project, Funding, Person, Organization Unit, and many others. Every entity instance can have any number of type or subject classifications. The facts are kept in temporally bound, role-based M:N relationships between entities in the model. Both roles and types are kept in the Semantic Layer that allows for formal syntax and declared semantics. Text attributes can have values in multiple languages. CERIF has been recommended by the European Commission as the standard for building CRISs (Current Research Information Systems). The stewardship of the data model has been entrusted to euroCRIS, the not-for-profit non-government association of research information management professionals.

Brtnická, Dagmar ; Dvořák, Jan (advisor) ; Klíma, Miloslav (referee)
Jozef Bednárik is one of the most famous people working on the czechoslovaque theatre. His talent and his knowledges in many kinds of arts (dramaturgie, acting, directing, painting and scénographie, music) are conected in the ideal way to make the synthetic theatre, which is a big enrichment for the czechoslovaque and international theatre. The important part in the complex result of his work are his quality in management about which nobody was speaking before. An interest in arts and organising things were already shown in his childhood. The first complex artistic expression involving his dramaturgic, scenographic, directing and managing work in one person become a milestone in a development of the theatre in Czechoslovakia. The nonprofesional theatre company from the vilage Zeleneč by Trnava toured under the leadership of him many places around the world. His work helped to blurred artificial boundaries between profesional and nonprofesional theatre. He was working in nonprofesional conditions in 1974-1987 and it was similar as czech theatre-studios. My thesis focused a period from the begining of his work untill the year 1991, when he leaves a stabil work in the theatre and starts his independent work.
LIFE CULTURE PERFORMANCE PRODUCTION
Mudruňková, Ludmila ; Dvořák, Jan (advisor) ; Šesták, Jiří (referee)
Graduation thesis themed ?Life culture performance production within the space of manor quarters? by its alignment and objectives freely link to previous bachelor thesis written under the name Ludmila Pešková in 2007, which was devoted to culture life of the countryside and country communities. Within the production point of view, an environment of the castles and chateaus embody different parameters of the successful organizational action than manor houses and commons. Understanding of the large difference between the characters of the life culture performance intended for natural countryside environment or thoroughbred environment of the manor quarters, needs long-term study of the theoretical materials and articulation with the outcomes of the field researches. Submitted text opens many important themes which cover monument preservation, national culture politics, private ownership and existence or absence of culture-economic-power elites and their cultural responsibility in face of wide society. Text is divided into the four parts. The first one ?Reasoning and reflection? defines basic terminology; following part ?Historical background of the culture life on castles and chateaus? brings the outcomes of studies of the theoretical materials and academic essays aimed on history in relation to art and culture. Third part analyzes today?s situation of the life culture performance production on castles and chateaus and exemplifies the analysis by many examples. The closing part of the text offers overall outcomes of the research summarized into the small vademecum. It indicates specific directions and rules of life culture performance production, which are beneficial for our historical monuments, and which productions in manor quarters might be followed by success.
LITOMĚŘICKO - NEW CULTURE AGGLOMERATION
Čičo Kulifay, Zuzana ; Dvořák, Jan (advisor) ; Köpplová, Barbara (referee)
The aim of my graduation thesis was to create a cultural vision based on urban development of Litoměřice ? Terezín ? Lovosice towns (agglomeration L-T-L). The potential of surveyed area of Litoměřice region was based in broad range of rich historical, cultural, knowledge and spiritual traditions. One of possible solutions how to animate this region and how to re-use many brownfields, was orientation on combining cultural industry with tourism. The Litoměrice region is a crossroad of international routes which are binding middle Europe with areas near the Northern sea. There is a motorway and important railway corridor as well, and the river Elbe is floatable from the junction with the river Vltava close to the Mělník town, up to the outing in Hamburg. The tourism attraction of this area is based on this fact as well and becomes a serious measuring criteria for competing environment. A formulation and imagination of future suppose a definition of complex views on historical base as well as on present situation at the same time. Future planning could be worthless and unfair without precise analysis, which is very detailed at some points. Litoměřice region was a mixture of various nations, such as Czechs, Germans and Jews, for hundreds of years, with their own habits and traditions, which were influencing each other by nature. The major part of this graduation thesis comprise the cultural fund of this area. Special respect is given to a landscape context of the region as well, also called a ?Czech Orchard?, where the river Elbe flows through the canyon of Czech Highlands. Five thematically divided chapters comprises a set of culturally-economically glossary. In the end I suggest a series of concrete projects for new usage of brownfields with respect to the distance in between locations and everyday inhabitants migration. The aglomeration L-T-L should get back his own regional importance in near future and should become an important and visible cultural destination, by not only national but european context consideration, in decades.
