The comparison of EMG activity of selected muscles during walking and skiing - group LW2
Machač, Jan ; Fořterová, Petra (advisor) ; Kračmar, Bronislav (referee)
Title: The comparison of EMG activity of selected muscles during walking and skiing - group LW2 Aim: The aim of this study is the analysis of the activity of selected muscles of an individual with one-sided, above-knee amputation during walk with an artificial limb, after the mobilisation of the sole, and the comparison with their activity during downhill skiing. Method: This is a case study of a descriptive charakter performed through surface EMG in conjunction with simultaneous video recording. The observation of the kinesiological content of the muscle movement was done through comparative analysis, with the aid of a qualitative analysis of the video recording and a qualitative comparison of the intensity of the electric potential of the selected mescles. Results: Different character of the working of the lower limb during walking with artificial limb and during the performance of a curve on inner and outer egde with one or both stabilisers was shown. With caution, we can characterise skiing as a kinetic aktivity, predominantly of a postural charakter. Free "bipedal" walk, on the other hand, is a locomotion with a predominant character of phasal muscle activity. Key words: amputation, bipedal locomotion, downhill skiing, electromyography.
Muscle activity in pelvic girdle, trunk and lower limb during Nordic Walking
Herdová, Daniela ; Mikulíková, Petra (referee) ; Kračmar, Bronislav (advisor)
Title: Muscle activity in pelvic girdle, thrunk and lower limb during Nordic Walking Purposes: The aim of this thesis is to analyse and compare muscle timing in pelvic girdle during Nordic Walking and during a free bipedal walk. Methods: Surface electromyography (EMG) combinated with kinematografy analysis used synchronized video recording. It is an intraindividual comparative analyse. Results: As the research shows, there is a difference in muscle timing between the NW and free bipedal walk. It was proved that the NW has more corporate aktivity in some muscles (m. gluteus maximus and contralateral m. latissimus dorsi) than in free bipedal walk. Key words: Nordic Walking, pelvic girdle, trunk, surface electromyography (EMG), free bipedal walk, muscle chains
Similarity of kinesiology content of different techniques of cross-country skiing and walking
Bauštein, David ; Novotný, Petr (referee) ; Kračmar, Bronislav (advisor)
Objectives: The aim of the work is to compare the contents kinesiology movement techniques for various cross-country skiing and walking. Measuring the involvement of selected muscle groups. Methods: EMG measurement of muscle groups associated with synchronized videorecording. Comparative analysis of different types of locomotion. Results: There was not evidence of content similarity kinesiology researched techniques of cross country skiing with walking. Keywords: EMG, cross-country skiing, bipedalism, locomotion, gait, motor unit.
The Republic of South Africa as a tourism destination
Metody: Pozorování, popisná a SWOT analýza. Výsledky: Nabídky jednotlivých cestovních kanceláří je obtížné srovnávat jinak než cenově a počtem dnů zájezdu, ostatní parametry lze posuzovat pouze individuálně. Cenově dostupnější je individuální cestování, nicméně využití služeb cestovní kanceláře přináší turistům pohodlí. Klíčová slova: Jihoafrická republika, cestovní ruch, cestovní kanceláře, modelový zájezd, nezávislé cestování. Anotation of the thesis Title of the work: The Republic of South Africa as a tourism destination Goal of the thesis: Graduation theses is focused on South Africa as a tourist destination. Terms of providing a concise, comprehensive view of culture, social environment, economic characteristics of the country and particularly focuses on opportunities in tourism, evaluate offers tours to South Africa in the Czech market and also contains a model of individual trip. Methods: Observation, descriptive and SWOT analysis. Results:...
Evaluation of tennis forehand due to surface EMG
Nedělová, Hana ; Kočíb, Tomáš (advisor) ; Kračmar, Bronislav (referee)
 Title of disertation: Evaluation of tennis forehand due to surface EMG.  Objectives of dissertation: To measure and describe the structure involving specific muscles of two tennis players. The muscles are going to be measured during the tennis forehand and specific exercises.  Method: Surface electromyography combinated with kinematic analysis used synchronized video recording.  Results: The order of muscle involving durig the tennis forehand and the specific exercises is different. The order of muscle involving during the specific exercises with using a tennis ball and a softball is more similar to the muscle involving during the tennis forehand than the order of muscle involving of the specific exercise with using a medicinball. The order of muscle involving during the tennis forehand is different between both of the tennis players, too.  Key words: Tennis, forehand, specific exercises, EMG analysis, kinematic analysis. 6
The comparative kineziologic analysis of a swimming cycle and the selected streghtend exercises
Brtník, Tomáš ; Kračmar, Bronislav (advisor) ; Novotný, Petr (referee)
Title: The comparative kineziologic analysis of a swimming cycle and the selected streghtend exercises Purposes: The aim of the thesis is to compare muscle timing in shoulder girdle during a swimming cycle and the selected streghtend exercises Methods: Surface electromyography combinated with kinematography analysis used synchronized video recording. Results: The muscle activation timing of the swimming cycle crawl in the water proof is more comparative with the muscle activation timing of the stepping cycle by the rubber expander use than the swimming simulator use. Key words: Swimming cycle, shoulder girdle, surface electromyography, kinematics analysis.
Evaluation of voleyball service due to surface EMG
Král, Michal ; Buchtel, Jaroslav (referee) ; Kračmar, Bronislav (advisor)
Title of dissertation: Evaluation of volleyball service due to surface EMG. Objectives of dissertation: To measure and describe the structure involving specific muscles of the player. The muscles are going to be measured during the volleyball service - service with jump, service without jumping and specific exercises. Method: Surface EMG analysis and simple kinematic analysis. Results: The order of muscle activation is the use of the land and use of jump spikeserve different. In repeated experiments of each type of use, however, does not change the order of muscle involvement. Specific exercise is by its nature more spikeserve use of the jump. Key words: Volleyball, service, pulley, EMG analysis, kinematic analysis. 6
