Relationship between tensile strength and hardness of aluminium alloys
Růžička, Martin ; Jetela, Václav (referee) ; Klement, Josef (advisor)
This thesis deals with relationship between tensile strength and hardness of aluminium alloys. The introduction provides an overview of aluminum aloys and their properties. In the following section there is an analysis of the processing of aluminum alloys. A large part is devoted to the course of precipitation hardening. The second part of the thesis contains a practical part, which describes the methodology of measuring hardness and tensile strength. The measurement process is described below. At the end, the measured data are processed into various graphs and their results are evaluated.
Inverted Aircraft Engines
Růžička, Martin ; Janoušek, Michal (referee) ; Drápal, Lubomír (advisor)
This thesis deals with inverted aircraft engines. Introduction contains overview of general requirements for aircraft engines, their division and basic information about inverted construction. In second chapter there is overview of selected engines with inverted construction, their description, technical specification and eventually modifications. Conclusion consists of chapter elaborating on description of different construction and their comparison with performance-wise similar invert engines.
Memory monument from prefabricated elements
Růžička, Martin ; Bažant, Zdeněk (referee) ; Strnad, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor‘s thesis is concerned with a design of a monument which is made of reinforced concrete. The monument is composed of eleven prefabricated segments located from each other in regular distances. The segments have got the same external dimension but they differ in the dimension of internal openings which create a dynamic interior for a person standing inside of the structure. The segments are fixed to the prefabricated comb-shaped foundation. The aim of this thesis is to design each segment and the foundation of the construction. It also includes the technical drawings of reinforcement of the selected segments, the foundation, drawing of the concrete connection of the foundations and drawing of the shape of the segments.
Structural design of the testing centre
Růžička, Martin ; Pinkas, Karel (referee) ; Klusáček, Ladislav (advisor)
The master´s thesis concerns with the design of the construction of the testing centre. The hall is divided in two parts, in one of those parts the office rooms are located. The precast concrete frame of the hall is composed by foundation pads, columns, secondary beams and crane beams, precast slabs, and prestressed girders. The thesis contains report, structural design, drawings of floor plans and sections, drawings of formwork and reinforcement, visualization and steps of construction.
Design and evaluation of a user inteface for cinematic lighting
Růžička, Martin ; Křivánek, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Vorba, Jiří (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with global illumination and generally with the process of illumination of prepared scenes. A program for illumination management was written for this purpose. It can manage both direct and indirect illumination in interactive time. Simple and comfortable user interface allows for addition, deletion and change in light settings. Different types of both point and area lights are supported. In the course of all work, the program displays current illumination of the scene. With the help of this application, a series of different experiments will be carried out. We will explore the way users work during illumination, the way they perceive different properties of global illumination, various options of its control and its comparison with common direct illumination.
Didactic Motivation in School Physical Education
Růžička, Martin ; Fialová, Ludmila (advisor) ; Velenský, Michael (referee)
Didactic Innovations at School Physical Education (Teaching the Games) Objectives work To analyze the opinions of current PE teachers on the concept and content of teaching sports games secondary schools, identifying key problems, propose a solution and appropriate teaching practices the teaching of games in secondary schools. A method The analysis was carried out by questionnaire in a 36-PE teachers in secondary schools during the month of May 2006. The questionnaire focused on The following areas, which involve issues related to the teaching of games in secondary Schools: The Role of sports games, sports games teaching content, didactics of sports and games social interaction in games. results Illuminate the teaching of games in secondary schools, they can contribute to its improvement and assist teachers in assigning sports games in the program. Can be the basis for a proposal modification of teaching sports games in terms of pupil assessment, time allocated to teaching unit and other factors examined, and may also be beneficial for the quality of future educators. Keywords Didactic innovation questionnaire, sports games, school TV learning. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Particle systems
Růžička, Martin ; Pelikán, Josef (advisor) ; Kmoch, Petr (referee)
The presented work deals with the issue of particles. It aims to offer a system for particle creation, simulation and visualization. The introductory part of the paper is devoted to design a physical model. The physical model particularly stresses a fast and at the same time plausible approximation of physical laws. Afterwards, it deals with methods of describing the particle behavior. In order to achieve the highest possible flexibility, a scripting interface is used. The conclusion then describes the visualization of the final particles itself. It is realized using the designed extension of the OpenGL graphic library. The results of the work can be seen in an enclosed application which demonstrates the possibilities of the designed particle systems.
Fluid and structure interaction
Růžička, Martin
The subject of this thesis is the numerical simulation of the interaction of two-dimensional incompressible viscous flow and a vibrating airfoil. A solid airfoil with two degrees of freedom, which can rotate around the elastic axis and oscillate in the vertical direction, is considered. The numerical simulation consists of the finite element solution of the Navier-tokes equations coupled with the system of ordinary differential equations describing the airfoil otion. The time dependent computational domain and a moving grid are taken into account with the aid of he Arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian (ALE) formulation of the Navier-Stokes equations. High Reynolds umbers up to 106 require the application of a suitable stabilization of the finite element scretization. Numerical tests prove that used method is sufficiently accurate and robust.
Study of (bio)molecular interactions and enzymatic reactions by capillary electrophoretic methods
Růžička, Martin
Non-covalent interactions participate in majority of processes in living organisms. The strength of interaction between (bio)molecules can be characterized by binding constants of respective complexes, which can be determined by variety of physico-chemical methods. From these methods, capillary electrophoresis features several advantages: (1) interactions takes place in aqueous solutions between free molecules without necessity of their immobilization, (2) short analysis time, (3) small consumption of analyzed compounds, and (4) easy automation of analyses. Within this dissertation thesis, methods of partial-filling affinity capillary electrophoresis (PF-ACE) were developed for study of interactions between double-strand DNA oligonucleotides and well characterized intercalator ethidium bromide as a model compound. Subsequently, binding constants of oligophenylene derivatives complexes with DNA oligonucleotides were determined. The PF-ACE method was optimized for study of enantioselective interactions between helquats and selected chiral acidic aromatic analytes. Several compounds whose enantiomers were separated using helquats as chiral selectors were identified. Capillary electrophoresis was applied as a separation analytical method for monitoring of peptide substrate cleavage by rhomboid...
