Educational specifics of the spatial visualization
Prokýšek, Miloš
TITLE: Educational specifics of the spatial visualization AUTHOR: Mgr. Miloš Prokýšek DEPARTMENT: Department of information technology and technology education SUPERVISOR: doc. PhDr. Vladimír Rambousek, CSc. ABSTRACT: This thesis deals with phenomena of spatial visualization, application of spatial visualization in instruction and its educational specifics. The present thesis addresses the questions of definition of spatial visualization in instruction, specification of educational specifics and exploration of the relations between spatial visualization and cognitive processes. The experimental part of the thesis is focused on relations between the form of presentation of subject matter (planar visualization and spatial visualization), spatial intelligence, or the ability of mental rotation and the results of learning at students of lower secondary (ISCED 2) school. Elaboration of the theory given field of educational means, the thesis seeks to contribute to the development of theoretical bases of pedagogy with the context of increasing importance of technology for support education. The Anchoring Vignette Method and its use for increasing the comparability of self-assessments of ICT knowledge and skills
Hrabák, Jan ; Voňková, Hana (advisor) ; Černochová, Miroslava (referee) ; Prokýšek, Miloš (referee)
This dissertation deals with the use of the Anchoring Vignette Method in educational research carried out to establish the level of information and communication technology (ICT) knowledge and skills, with the focus on Czech upper-secondary school students. The theoretical part describes curricular documents that define the ICT knowledge and skills. In the Czech Republic that means mainly the Framework Educational Programmes. Attention is also paid to the international document DigComp. The Anchoring Vignette Method with the focus on nonparametric approach of this method is described in detail too. The author also provides an overview of available Czech and foreign bibliography on ICT knowledge and skills research - including the International Computer and Information Literacy (ICILS, 2013 and 2018) - and on the use of the Anchoring Vignette Method in educational research. The empirical part includes the description of the steps taken in formulating anchoring vignettes, this being an integral part of the Anchoring Vignette Method, in accordance with the curricular documents of the Czech Republic, and the steps taken while formulating anchoring vignettes on the basis of the international document DigComp. The verification of the fulfilment of the Anchoring Vignette Method assumptions (vignette...
Workspaces and models of their distribution
Vais, Jan ; Prokýšek, Miloš (advisor) ; Fuglík, Viktor (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with distribution methods of operating environments, i.e. operating systems, software and specific configurations. In the thesis, chosen methods (local virtualization, remote software installation, hard drive cloning, cloud computing and remote terminal services) are described. Different distribution methods are evaluated using our own criteria. Four model institutions of different size are considered. Results of the case study are reported in the final part.
Proposal for a JS library for creating atypical didactic tests
Kozub, Martin ; Procházka, Josef (advisor) ; Prokýšek, Miloš (referee)
The introductory part of this Bachelor's thesis looks into existing types of didactic tests and searches for the forms adequate to be processed on a computer or in a web environment. This thesis also researches what JavaScript libraries and frameworks are, points out their differences and searches for the best methods for their development. In addition some possibilities of modern JavaScript are examined. The real outcome of this research is a JavaScript library simplifying the creation of didactic tests that use atypic question forms. Those are the ones which can't be created using native browser components - in my case queries with draggable options requiring their assignment or ordering. Moreover, the documentation and the whole project, including the manuals and example tests, are available in a GitHub repository.
