Title: Determination of the effect of selected yoga postures and therapy according to Ludmila Mojžíšová on primary dysmenorhea and pelvic floor Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to find out and compare through an experimental intervention study the effect of two therapeutic approaches, exercise of selected yoga postures and therapy according to Ludmila Mojžíšová's method, in university students on primary dysmenorhea and pelvic floor. Methods: 39 university students with primary dysmenorhea participated in the experimental part of the thesis. The participants were randomly divided into three groups. The experiment lasted a total of 12 weeks. The first group completed six therapies according to Ludmila Mojžíšová. The second group practiced selected yoga postures twice a week. The third group was a control group without intervention. The Menstrual Distress Questionnaire (MDQ) and transperineal ultrasound at the beginning and at the end of the experiment were used to evaluate the effect of the interventions. Furthermore, a visual analog scale (VAS) was used to evaluate the effect of the interventions, which the participants filled in at the beginning, at the end, and during the experiment. Results: The results show, that the symptoms of primary dysmenorhoea were alleviated in both intervention...

Title: Effect of yoga intervention in tinnitus patients Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to determine whether regular yogic movement intervention in people suffering from chronic tinnitus (without organic cause) has an effect on their quality of life. The objectives of the first part of the thesis include learning about the theoretical knowledge of tinnitus - its classification, etiology, symptoms, treatment options, etc. The second part will be an experiment-interventional study involving probands suffering from a chronic form of tinnitus with no organic cause. The aim will by to evaluate whether a purposefully designed yoga movement program has an effect on the change in quality of life in tinnitus patients. Methods: The theoretical part dealt with the given issue in the form of a search from the Czech and foreign literature. In the practical part an experimental research was conducted. The subjects who were included in the research based on selection criteria were randomly divided into two groups. The number of probands in both groups was 15 and they were tested at the beginning and at the end of the research using the TSCHQ and THI questionnaire. The experimental group underwent 10 yoga movement interventions, twice a week for 60 minutes under the guidance of a certified yoga instructor....

Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to provide a case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient after implantation of a total hip replacement due to advanced coxarthrosis and peruse the literature related to this diagnosis. Methods: Therapeutic methods and procedures were used, which are part of the curriculum of the bachelor's study at FTVS, namely, taking an anamnesis, initial and final kinesiological examination and therapeutic procedures determined according to the results. The procedures included exercises for prevention of thromboembolic disease, therapeutic physical education, soft tissue methods, mobilization techniques, postisometric relaxation, postisometric relaxation with stretching, passive prolonged stretching, passive movements, locomotion and mobility training. Results: The patient experienced a complete disappearance of the swelling in the area of the scar on PDK, pain reduction in the operated right hip joint, the range of motion in the PDK hip joint and muscle strenght of weakened muscles has increased, improvement of joint mobility of patella and head of fibula on both DKK, the soft tissues loosened,...

Author: KateYina Elicerová Supervisor: Mgr. Irena Novotná Title: Case study of physiotherapy of patient after hemorrhagic stroke with right-sided hemiparesis Objectives: The main goals of my bachelor thesis were to obtain new theoretical knowledge about strokes and process case study of a patient after a hemorrhagic stroke with right-sided hemiparesis. Methods: The theme of my thesis is stroke. The first part of the thesis is a general part, the second part is a specialized part. The general part was made using books, scholarly articles and studies. The specialized part contains initial kinesiology analysis, long-term and short- term suggestions of a physiotherapy plan for my patient, individual therapies and final kinesiology analysis including the development of the patient. Results: As we can see in the development of the patient, we managed to make small changes while doing the therapies. Swelling on the right arm is smaller, hypertonic muscles are more relaxed, the muscles around the right shoulder are able to activate a bit, muscles of the lower limb are stronger and the gait improved a lot. Unfortunately, we didn9t manage to improve the spasticity of the right upper limb that much. Conclusion: This thesis proves that when working with this complicated diagnosis you need to have theoretical...
