Optimization of the outflow regime in Římov reservoir from the point of view of water supply
Mercado, Ma. Cristina Paule ; Hejzlar, Josef ; Jarošík, Jiří ; Porcal, Petr
The best management strategy for the Římov reservoir: (a) discharge from a depth of 3–5 m during the stratified season, (b) without support for SHP and with high reservoir filling, (c) reducing the phosphorus loading of the reservoir as much as possible. The impacts of climate change on water quality are significant, as inflow DOC and P concentrations here increase with temperature and flow variability. The effects of climate change can be mitigated by targeted management of the reservoir, but the quality of water inflow will still deteriorate further.
Forecast model of DOC in the inflow to the Římov water reservoir and in the withdrawal of water from the reservoir.
Hejzlar, Josef ; Porcal, Petr ; Kopáček, Jiří ; Jarošík, Jiří ; Paule-Mercado, Ma
Long-term and seasonal changes in dissolved organic carbon (DOC) concentration and their causes in the years 1969–2021 were evaluated for the main tributary to the Římov water supply reservoir.
Composition and efficiency of organic matter removal at DWTP Studena.
Porcal, Petr ; Jarošík, Jiří ; Stará, J.
The paper describes the composition and removal efficiency of natural organic matter in the treatment of drinking water at the DWTP Studena.
Optimization of the outflow regime in the Římov reservoir from the point of view of water supply.
Hejzlar, Josef ; Jarošík, Jiří ; Mercado, Ma. Cristina Paule ; Porcal, Petr
A model analysis of the influence of the discharge regime and climate change on the Římov reservoir, Czech Republic, showed the optimal way of managing the reservoir from the point of view of water quality.
