The expirience of mentally disabled in the context of transformation of social services

This Masters Thesis "The expirence of mentally disables in the context of transformation of social services" is concerned with the term Mental Disability itself and the suitability of used terms and markings, which relate to this discourse. The thesis contains listing of all possible degrees of mental disabilities and brief characteristic of each, as well as description of individual syndromes. Furthermore it brings recommendations on how to communicate with mentally disabled individuals in the best possible way, with regards to the distinct degrees of their disabilities; it offers numerous possible communication methods in the framework of alternative and augmentative communication. Next point, towards which this thesis is directed, are social services in the context of their essentiality for the mentioned target group. The most important discussed topic is the transformation of social services, which is described from the basic terms, through historic context to current state, which is concerning the Czech Republic in connection to process of transformation changes. Finally, the thesis concludes with investigation focusing on finding the extend of freedom in key spheres of lives clients in specific "Homes" have.

The thesis deals with modern forms of food packaging; it is especially focused on vacuum packaging and equilibrium packaging. It describes the progress of the packaging process. The thesis analyzes the packaging systems for selected food products. There are described interactions between the gas and packaged food and there is evaluated the effect of gas on the shelf life of packaged food products. The presence of oxygen is generally undesirable in food packaging. There is exception in the case of foods, which need oxygen to breathe or to keep their colour. Vacuum packaging makes anoxic conditions, but the change of pressure can lead to deformation of product. The gas mixture can also displace the air. Nitrogen is an inert gas with no antimicrobial effect, it only creates anoxic conditions. Most important gas in MAP is carbon dioxide, due to its antimicrobial properties. It is water-soluble gas that can lower pH. This gas also gives a slow the respiration of fruits.

Japan-Mexico type of demographic revolution - evaluation of development in Japan and Mexico Abstract The aim of this work is to evaluate the progress of the demographic revolution in Japan and Mexico using the definition of the Japan-Mexico type demographic revolution, which is defined for the characterization of the process of the demographic revolution in developing countries. The main question of this thesis is whether we can characterize the process of the demographic revolution by the population development of this two countries, namely Japan on one side and Mexico on the other side. Firstly, the work is focused on the definition of the beginning and end of the demographic revolution in developing countries and analysis of its process. In the following part, there is an explanation of the demographic revolution in Japan and Mexico based on the analysis of mortality and fertility and changes in the age structure. In accordance with the given aim the analysis is not performed in the same time period, but in particular stages of the demographic revolution. In conclusion common and different features of the process of the demographic revolution in Japan and Mexico are summarized and so the reasons for designation the process of demographic revolution in developing countries as the "Japan-Mexico" is...
