The view of non-medical healthcare workers on the Czech nursing association's activity
Češek, Michal ; Svobodová, Hana (advisor) ; Šochmanová, Martina (referee)
In this thesis I deal with the theme of The Czech nursing association's activity that could relate to a dissatisfaction of non-medical healthcare workers with this association and its drop in a member base. The main aim of this thesis is to find out how non-medical healthcare workers perceive the activity of this association. While working on this thesis I draw inspiration from literature focused on the history of nursing organizations, a steady development of The Czech nursing association and its activities. To solve the aim of this research I ran a quantitative research method of electronic and paper questionnaires that were sent out to several of non-medical healthcare workers. Results of this thesis suggest that the negative attitude of non-medical healthcare workers to The Czech nursing association's activities indeed relate to its activity and presentation. Outcomes of this thesis could serve as a self-reflection and a potential way on how to deal with a cause of a fluctuation of members of this association and regain the confidence of non-medical healthcare workers.
