Country parishes in Doudleby and Kamenný Újezd in the time of baroque
ŠIMÁNEK, Jan
The dissertation describes on the example of two adjoining parishes in the South Bohemia ? Doudleby and Kamenný Újezd ? everyday life of a country parish in the second half of the 17th and the first half of the 18th century. Thanks to a detailed analysis of many sources issued by church as well as patrimonial administration it was possible to reconstruct a plastic view of people?s life in the microcosm of both researched parishes. Besides the preface, conclusion, list of sources and literature, the list of abbreviations and the supplements the text is divided into four main parts. The first part is based on scientific literature. The author concerns with the parish organization, its importance and changes in the mid-17th century. The second part, entitled Man in the Parish is the most extensive. It describes the position of various subjects interacting in the parishes ? a vicar, a patron of the church and his clerks, a sacristan and a schoolteacher. Also the social conditions of the parishioner are not set aside. In the subchapter entitled Reputable People the author reveals the most frequent godfathers, marriage marshals and godfather relationships among the parishioner. The last subchapter of the second part contains the analysis of several interesting conflicts in the surveyed parishes. The title of the third part sounds Churches and Clergyman?s Houses ? Economy and Material Culture. First, the author researches the economy of both churches and vicars? material provision. Then, especially on the basis of preserved inventories, he aims a reconstruction of the appearance and the equipment of the churches, clergyman?s houses and households of chosen vicars. The first part, named Spiritual Life is particularly concerned on the parish in Doudleby. The author interests in the year?s cycle of church celebrations and fairs, baptizing and marrying rituals, work of local religious confraternity and other piety exposures. This part addicted to spiritual life is concluded by a comparison with the situation in the adjoining parish in Kamenný Újezd.
Jiří Frejka (1904-1952)
RAUCHOVÁ, Jitka
This thesis called Jiří Frejka (1904-1952) tries to get to know the personality of Jiří Frejka and put it back to the cultural and political context of the period of the first half of the twentieth century. As the creator of the original directional poetics Jiří Frejka contributed very much to the development of the Czech theatre, but his theoretical works, in which he helped to define the new direction of the Czech theatre above all in two postwar years, are also very important. The presented work is based on the biographic plan, it is difficult to distinguish work and life in the case of Jiří Frejka. The chronology of his life becomes the main them of this thesis ? the childhood, the growing up, first directional works connected with the early period of the Czech avantguarde theatre, the activity in the National theatre, the artistic leadership of the Municipal Theatres of Prague and finally the epilogue in the theatre of Karlín. Three main chapters then correspond to this chronology. Two interludes, which are interested in the Frejka´s writer´s works and his participation in the constitution of the modern shap of the theatrical school systém, are inserted among.
Analysis of lipids mobilized by adipokinetic hormones in the firebug Pyrrhocoris apterur (Heteroptera: Pyrrhocoridae)
BÁRTŮ, Iva
An effect of two adipokinetic hormones (Pyrap-AKH and Peram-CAH-II) on distribution of diacylglycerol (DG) molecular species and their fatty acid (FA) constituents were investigated by liquid chromatography (HPLC) - electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS) in haemolymph of the firebug Pyrrhocoris apterus. The results show that DGs with characteristic FAs are preferentially mobilized from fat body (FB) by the action of both AKHs produced by P. apterus. Both the macropterous and brachypterous morphs show very close DG and FA profiles. A separate action of the Pyrap-AKH and the Peram-CAH-II, however, exerts distinct differences in FA distribution at the macropterous morph. It seems that partially C16 and mainly unsaturated C18 FAs play a dominant role in the AKH action with an exclusive position of linoleic acid (18:2) which represents 50 - 60% of the total DG mobilization. The metabolically active C16 and C18 FAs are preferentially absorbed from the linden seeds and accumulated in the FB.
