Design of a device for the combination of manual operations during production of thermostable detonators
Mikeš, Josef ; Galas, Radovan (referee) ; Svoboda, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with problematics of a production jig needed for the combination of manual operations during production of thermostable detonators. The goal was to propose ergonomic, practical and functional device which replaces current inconvenient type of manufacture. The thesis focuses on a description and a following usage of standardized parts. Having determined the required parameters, the design of the production jig with the use of pneumatic elements was chosen. The assigned goal as well as the partial goals were fulfilled. The result is a complete design of the production jig, which excludes difficult manual stripping of insulation from a conductor. The assessment of time savings for each one of the operations performed by an operator of the production jig was made for the final design. By the implementation of the jig to the manufacture the time of a higher qualified worker, who does not need to help the operator with stripping of the insulation anymore, is saved as well. The thesis contains basics of the problematics of the detonators, principles of their function, way of production of selected parts, overview of usable standardized parts and the actual solution of construction of the whole production jig including the construction documentation and usage guideline.
