Both surveys point to the same goal which is to find out about the influence of fragmentation of the landscape on the lives of the city's inhabitants. This goal was achieved in the final chapter, which summarizes the most important findings from both surveys. KEY WORDS: Externalities, space, fragmentation, road transport, city, pedestrian crossing with traffic lights
