Trofická specializace škůdců javorů (Acer spp.) v arboretu Mendelovy univerzity v Brně

Monitoring of maples pests were investigated in arboretum of Mendel University in Brno in 2015. There were registered 25 species of maples. Tree native species (A. campestre, A. platanoides, A. pseudoplatanus), four North American species (A. circinatum, A. negundo, A. saccharinum, A. saccharum), three Mediterranean to Asian species (A. monspessulanum, A. tataricum a A. cappadocicum) and fifteen Asian species. Most species attacked native species of maples and American maple A. saccharum. Eight monophages and one polyphagous species were found. All species reached low abundance. Polyphagous Operophtera brumata attacked 19 species of maples. Stigmella aceris damaged five species of maples, native A. campestre, A. platanoides and three Asian maples. Drepanosiphum platanoidis and Periphyllus aceris were found on two species of maples. Aceria macrochela, Periphyllus californiensis, P.testudinaceus, Phyllonorycter joannis and Drisina glutinosa were found on one species of maple.
