Young people in the suburb: the case study of Zvole Abstract This thesis deals with the impact of the process of residential suburbanization on changes in mobility and spatial structure of daily activities of young people. The aim is to assess the nature of some aspects of the social environment, such as character of interactions between original inhabitants and newcomers. The move to the suburban areas resulted in the need for frequent commuting to Prague to schools and services. The research showed that young people are limited by the public transport in their daily movement. The social interactions of the newcomers and the indigenous people are limited, however, it is possible to anticipate their positive development.
