The application of basal stimulation in the education of a child with cerebral palsy. Objective: The work was aimed at identifying opportunities for application of basal stimulation in children with cerebral palsy and verify how education affects child during one school year. method: In this thesis were used qualitative methods of data collection and participant observation, semi-structured interview, medical and school documentation. Results: They point to improve the overall development of the child, specifically in the areas of gross and fine motor skills, increase self-sufficiency and independence in self-care activities. They show also gain new skills in perception. Contribute to the understanding of the importance of touch in interaction between people.
