The bow of the mongols, its history and reflection in folklore

ln the present work in the first two chapters we study the history of bow, mainly in Asia, its predecessors, followers and furthermore its accessories. The whole work is focused mainly on composite bow but the reader can find also basic bow classification and its distribution throughout the world. In the next chapter we examine individual parts and try to point out the connection between these names and Mongolian understanding of the world. In the last chapter, which is followed by several color pictures, we study the manufacture of historical Mongolian bow.
