Institutions for Leisure Time Spending of the Youth up to 18 years of age

This thesis is dealing with the institutions providing leisure time activities for the children and youth in Prague 3 City District. The main aim of this thesis is to analyse whether the institutions come up with the role they were established for and to research an offer of the leisure time activities in selected district. The thesis consists of two parts.
The first, theoretical part explains terms leisure time, participants of leisure time, institution, semi-budgetary organizations and financial opportunities for getting grant.
The second, research part is focusing on the options of spending leisure time in Prague 3 City District. Furthermore this part more closely describes selected institution where the analysis is carried out based on its purpose, the function, activities offer, material facility, staff and financing.
The thesis in its conclusion evaluates results and makes possible suggestions for improving.
