Possibilities of employment of persons with disability in the labor market

This thesis present the sheltered job opportunities as one of the alternatives of disabled persons´ employment on the job market. The theoretical part deals with the explanation of several terms in this area with a closer familiarization with the problematic of disabled persons´employment including the legislation in the Czech Republic. The practical part is concerned with the sheltered jobs as one of the alternatitives for job placement for persons with disabilities on the job market in Svazek obcí Milevska. The research was performed in chosen member municipalities of this organization. These member municipalities offer to their employees work engagement of sufficient quality.
Psychological and social aspects of unemployment

The following thesis addresses unemployment, focusing on its psychological and social effects. The first, theoretical, section describes the labour market and how it works, and then defines unemployment, including a discussion of its various types and methods of its measurement. The importance of social implications of unemployment is stressed, including the description of its various psychological and social effects. The thesis also explores the tools the government employs to eliminate unemployment. The second, empirical, section includes primary research conducted by surveys. Asserted hypotheses are evaluated using statistical analysis of collected data. The thesis conclusion presents the research outcomes and recommendations.
The possibilities the job market involvement for individuals with a mild mental retardation

The paper presents a sheltered workshop as an option for the individuals with a mild mental retardation to enter the job market. The theoretical part is concerned with defining mental retardation, the importance of work and presents the possibilities of job market involvement for the mentally challenged as well as the topic of allowance for their employers. The practical part is focused on the sheltered workshop, viewed as one of the possibilities of employing people with a mental retardation. The research has been permormed in two selected sheltered workshops - in Domov sv. Anežky - Týn nad Vltavou and in Rolnička - Soběslav. Both of these provide sufficient work involvement to its employees.
