Kašpar, Ondřej ; Gála, Libor (advisor) ; Kafka, Daniel (referee)
The main goal of this bachelor thesis is the analysis of web accessibility evaluation tools in terms of visually disabled users. For understanding, the very first terms to be clarified are "accessible web site" and "visually disabled user," including possible classifications and their specific needs. Because of significant differences between the requirements for the accessibility of each group of visually disabled, only a sample of available tools is selected for analysis. The main focus is placed on those who suffer from low-vision or color blindness. According to the obtained results, it is possible to get the general idea/image of the possibilities offered by these tools and make it easier to decide on the most appropriate for certain/specific situation. The work is divided into three main parts. Basic terms are defined in the first section. The second part addresses to users with visual disability, their classification and difficulties accessing the information available on the web. Finally, the practical analysis of selected tools and services is content of the third part. The tools are evaluated using created methodology including specific criteria.
