Funds of the supplementary pension savings in the pension system of the Czech Republic

This bachelor's thesis focuses on supplementary pension savings. The aim is to compare supplementary pension savings funds according to selected criteria and to evaluate the impact of the pension reform on the selected market segment. The main purpose is to present specific products of the financial market which are pension companies including their pension funds which operate on the pension market in the Czech Republic. Furthn the work includes the analysis of pension funds according to selected criteria. The funds are evaluated according to the calculation of the real appreciation, standard deviation, cost of the given funds, share of pension companies in the market and according to other criteria. In conclusion, the simple sum of the ranking method is used, which evaluates the best supplementary pension fund.

This bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of employee benefits in an un-named company. The objective was to compare whether the employer's contribu-tion to private life insurance or supplementary pension savings is preferable to an increase in the employee's gross wage. The evaluation was carried out on the ba-sis of a questionnaire survey and model calculations. The calculations showed that it is more advantageous for employers to introduce a contribution to one of the financial products. An optimal solution and recommendation for the company are presented in the conclusion.
Funds of the supplementary pension savings in the pension system of the Czech Republic

This bachelor thesis focuses on the comparison of supplementary pension savings funds according to selected criteria. There are eight pension companies operating on the Czech market offering supplementary pension savings funds. The thesis is devoted to the description of the history and the current state of the pension system in the Czech Republic, the definition of terms related to supplementary pension. The transformed and participating funds and their representation in the market in the Czech Republic are also described. The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of funds according to selected criteria such as profitability, risk, fund equity and other indicators. At the end of the thesis is a written evaluation of individual funds and recommendations. The result of this work is to evaluate the impact of pension reform on this market segment. Within the chosen criterion, a simple order method is used, according to which the criteria are allocated according to the preferred way of the participant.
Supplementary pension savings in Czech Republic

The bachelor thesis "Supplementary Pension Savings in the Czech Republic" deals with the additional pension savings and the pension system in the context of its reform. It consists of the characterization of the pension system history, the illustration of the pension reform as well as the individual pillars of the pension system. The thesis further analyses the influence of the demographic development on the pension system and comments on the financial system of the pension scheme (both funded and continuous). On the top of that, the thesis provides a thorough characteristic of the additional pension savings (the participant, the establishment and the termination of an additional pension savings, a pension company, the communication with a customer, the pension recommendation, etc.). Hence, the questionnaire was created. It is represented by 11 closed questions aimed to the pension scheme for the retirement period as well as to the various options for pension savings. Tanks to the questionnaire it was possible to establish the hypotheses and the model example. The latter compares the additional pension savings system with other products (namely the savings account and the term deposits) and also it addresses the comparison of the preestablished additional pensionsavings funds. Subsequently, the results of the individual-products and hypotheses comparison were gathered and were elaborated on at the very end of the thesis.

Legal regulation of pension companies and pension funds The Master's thesis concentrates on the main issues of the legal regulation of pension companies, the designated providers of pension savings and supplementary pension savings in the Czech Republic. The thesis evaluates the reform of the pension schemes constituted by Act No. 426/2011 Coll., on Pension Savings, Act No. 427/2011 Coll., on Supplementary Pension Savings, and Act No. 428/2011 Coll., amending Certain Acts in Connection with the Adoption of the Act on Pension Savings and the Act on Supplementary Pension Savings. The thesis is divided into nine chapters. Chapter 1 is an introductory part defining the purpose of the thesis. Chapter 2 describes the pension savings regulation in the Czech Republic prior to the reform's effective date (i.e., 1 January 2013). Chapter 3 describes the pension reform and its justification. Chapter 4 concentrates on the pension companies as the managers of pension funds and supplementary pension funds. The regulation of pension funds is described in Chapter 5 while the regulation of supplementary pension funds is described in Chapter 6. The possibility of financial security of the people in retirement in the conditions of the Czech Republic

This thesis is focused on products used to cover the needs of the people in retirement in the conditions of the Czech Republic, which can be a suitable complement to the constantly decreasing values of the retirement pension paid by the State. At first I will describe the current situation of the Czech pension system and its compulsory transformation into a multi-pillar system. The following chapters are devoted to analyzing individual products in terms of making savings for retirement. In the last chapter I compare different products and try to find out the best way how to secure individuals savings for life in the retirement according to a particular state revenues and expenditures.
