Kašparová, Veronika ; Vágnerová, Marie (advisor) ; Janošová, Pavlína (referee)
This bachelor's thesis is focused on coping strategies of stressful situations in the lives of people with profound visual impairment. The theoretical part of this work describes visual impairment and deals with psychical development of a visually disabled child, functions of compensatory mechanisms and socialisation of a visually impaired person. Furthermore it focuses on how visual impairment is experienced by a child and his family and by an adult person. The empirical part describes the process and results of my qualitative research. The aim is to find out the types of stressful situations in the lives of visually impaired people and their coping strategies. This part also figures out how the visual impairment is connected with stress and whether the impairment is the main stress factor in the life of visually disabled people.
Coping strategies in context of the attachment in the adolescence
CHADT, Jan
The thesis generally defines theoretical background of coping strategies, specifically it focuses on adolescence. It presents findings from attachment theory that are chracteristic for this period. It also focuses on the attachment as a relevant predictor of specific coping strategies. The theses also provides an overview of the research in the field of attachment and coping. The research was conducted with 152 adolescents to whom were administred methods RQ, IPPA and CASQ. Results showed that attachment styles measured with RQ and IPPA do not have relation to using certain coping strategies and styles within the sample. Differences in using certain coping strategies were proved between gender.
Aspects of Coping in Early Adolescence in Connection With Behaviour Disorders.
BENEŠOVÁ, Štěpánka
The theme of this work is Aspects of Coping in Early Adolescence in Connection With Behaviour Disorders. In theoretical part of this work I focused on explanation of conceptions that were important and were related to this theme. The practical part I conceived as the analysis of these interviews and their comparison. The result of this work should summarize how adolescence with behaviour disorders or without these disorders deal with stressors. Important is also which are their strategies of dealing with stressors, if they are similar or different.
