Hand gesticulation recognition in image
Mráz, Stanislav ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Horák, Karel (advisor)
This master’s thesis is dealing with recognition of an easy static gestures in order to computer controlling. First part of this work is attended to the theoretical review of methods used to hand segmentation from the image. Next methods for hang gesture classification are described. The second part of this work is devoted to choice of suitable method for hand segmentation based on skin color and movement. Methods for hand gesture classification are described in next part. Last part of this work is devoted to description of proposed system.
Hand gesticulation recognition in image
Zlotý, Petr ; Horák, Karel (referee) ; Janáková, Ilona (advisor)
This work describes gesticulation recognition analysis and implementation. There was chosen the recognition method based on orientation histograms. This method was enhanced by combining it with two segmentation methods. First one based on interframe diferencing and the second one based on skin color detection. There is also mentioned the movement recognition method from reasonable data. It's based on finding a minimum of absolute value of diference between scalar product of picture’s bases vectors and motion vector.
Mouse-Less Keyboard-Less Human-Computer Interaction
Jaroň, Lukáš ; Mlích, Jozef (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
In this Bachelor thesis are described suggestions of ways you can control the computer without a mouse and keyboard, just motion of hand, and user interfaces. Then there is the theory describes tools used to develop experimental applications that simulate the proposed interface. And the entire development cycle from problem analysis, specification and implementation, to testing of final application. The result of this work is the interface, that can recognize eight different hand movements and use them as input to the system.
