It also describes the international standard IEEE 802.11 and its extensions. Closed attention is given to the security of wireless networks including safety recommendations for each group of networks.

For my paper I have chosen project of a wireless network, which will be actually applied at SOS Podyji. In my paper I will deal with selection of a suitable concept of the wireless network and the functional use of the concept. In a theoretical part of my paper I will engage in wireless networks in general and in security of wireless networks. In a practical part of my paper I will select the most convenient solution, combining the chosen concept, security features and networking devices. I will select the networking devices with regard to their price.

Analysis of Security for Wireless Networks Using Mobile Device

This bachelor's thesis deals with analysis of security for wireless networks using mobile device, where application is created for Android operating system. Application launchs promiscuous mode for wireless card and scans wireless networks in range. There is a possibility to analyze security of these networks. This work describes wireless networks security theory, proposal and implementation. This work also describes problems with analysis and evaluates the final results.

The content of this thesis is to illuminate the basic issues of wireless networks. It gives an overview of IEEE 802.11 standards. I´ll analyze these standards with special emphasis on their security and architecture.
