Potato Harvesting in Vysočina - radio reportage

This bachelor's thesis uses a radio reportage to show the process of harvesting potatoes on Josef Vlk's farm in Čelistná near Pelhřimov. In the first, theoretical part, the topic of reportage as a radio genre is mentioned with the addition of its past and present. One chapter will also focus on the basic orientation of the potato harvest. The second half is devoted to the methodology of making radio reportage. It explains the preparation, recording procedure and subsequent post-production.

Practical bachelor thesis "Interest subcultures and is this still a hobby?" Radio reports on the life of communities connected with the way of spending free time deals with two selected subcultures of interest. Their members differ from the rest of society in the way they spend their free time. Selected subcultures are radio amateurs and fans of public transport. In the theoretical part, I describe the genre that I chose to report on these subcultures, and that is field report. I also mention the specifics of radio production, focusing on field report, I focus on the format of the podcast and I define the terms subculture and community. I also describe the mentioned subcultures. In the practical part, I use the knowledge from the theoretical part to create the basis of a radio series of reports. I made the first two episodes for this bachelor thesis. They focus on a detailed description of the activities that unite the subcultures, explaining their motivation, the problems they face, the internal relations between their members and their own view of the subculture.
Radio reportage from traditional harvests in the Vysočina region

The essence of this bachelor's thesis is to present the genre of radio reportage and its practical processing during the grain harvest also called žně. In the first part of the thesis, the author gives a theoretical introduction to the reportage genre and at the same time discusses its development on the domestic scene up to the present day. The thesis also describes the topic of the grain harvest, about which the author made a fifteen-minute long audio report. The second half defines the process of preparation for the shoot, the course of the shoot and the subsequent post-production. During the latter, the soundtracks were sorted and cleaned so that they could be worked with in the final editing.
Stories of our neighbours: Post Bellum project (radio report)

This bachelor's thesis deals with the project Stories of Our Neighbours, which is prepared by the non-profit organization Post Bellum. The output of the practical part is a 20-minute radio reportage featuring seven interviewees. It takes listeners to a primary school in Ostrava-Poruba to meet the pupils who participated in the project with their class teacher, and to the Post Bellum office to meet the main coordinator of the project. The reportage focuses, among other things, on how the teaching of modern history can be enlivened and how the recent past can be brought closer to pupils and students. Therefore, the reportage will also take the audience to Modřany in Prague to listen to an enthusiastic history teacher who tries to convey information about modern history to his pupils in an entertaining way. The theoretical part of the bachelor's thesis describes radio reportage as a genre, characterizes its origins and development, and places it in the context of Czech Radio broadcasting. It mentions the crucial periods in the history of Czechoslovak radio reportage. It also includes an introduction to the project and an outline of the future work of the Post Bellum organization.
