Case Study of Physiotherapeutic Treatment of a Patient with the after reimplantation of total knee arthroplasty

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to compile a case study of physiotherapeutic care for a patient after reimplantation of total knee arthroplasty. Furthemore, the thesis includes theoretical knowledge about the subsequent rehabilitation. The tesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part focuses on the anatomy of the knee joint, the issue of osteoarthritis, and its diagnosis. The last chapter is dedicated to total knee arthroplasty, its indications and contraindications, conservative and operative treatment, and finally, rehabilitation before and after the surgical procedure. The practical part includes the patient's anamnesis, initial kinesiological analysis, individual therapeutic units, final kinesiological analysis, and the concluding evaluation of the therapy. There was an improvement in the patient's health status during the therapy. The physiotherapy methods used were effective.
