Téma diplomové práce je Finanční analýza podniku Siemens Kolejová vozidla, s.r.o. Cílem práce je posoudit finanční situaci společnosti a určit jaké zaujímá postavení v odvětví. Informace jsou čerpány z veřejně dostupných zdrojů, rozvahy a výkazu zisků a ztrát. Praktická část nejprve obsahuje horizontální a vertikální rozbor rozvahy a výsledovky, následují poměrové ukazatele, metody predikce finanční tísně, pravidla financování a mezipodnikové srovnání. V závěru práce jsou shrnuty poznatky, ke kterým bylo dospěno v praktické části.
