Advanced laser diagnostic systems to measure flow field
Loutocký, Petr ; Lízal, František (referee) ; Jedelský, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this work is to give readers a comprehensive view of the present laser methods for measuring the velocity of fluid flow. The methods are classified and compared according to various criteria. Individual techniques are briefly outlined their principles of measurement, options and range of applications. Furthermore, this work discusses the advantages and disadvantages, appropriate areas of application and the basic parameters. At the end we can find a sample analysis of data measured by one method.
Laser Doppler anemometry
Osička, Tomáš ; Lízal, František (referee) ; Jedelský, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with laser Doppler anemometry (LDA). It is a modern, non-intrusive flow measurement technique. The work deals with theoretical principles and components of the method. The experimental part is devoted to setting of the system. Vector plot and profile plot display the measurement results.

Study of the fluid convection by COMSOL Multiphysics package
HABAJ, Elemír
This baccalaureate work deals with studio flow of liquid with the help of the application mode Navier - Stokes equation in programming package COMSOL Multiphysics. In the first part of work basic survey problems of the flow of liquid and gas is come out and fundamental terms are explained. Afterwards the analysis of Navier - Stokes equation follows. The main part of the work is a chapter about the programme COMSOL Multiphysics and its application mode intended for flow simulation. In those part there is described the progress, how to create the geometry of the model, how to set initial and boundary conditions, and what solvers to use. Finally, the postprocessing possibilities are described. In the last volume of the work there is devoted a short demonstration how the flow of liquid can be studied numerically.
