Epidemiology of sporadic forms of colorectal cancer in terms of preventions and the possibility of early diagnostic.

Thanks to the latest achievements in diagnostics, surgery and oncology, the overall perspective of colorectal cancer has changed significantly. There are no doubts that we deal with a complex disease, requiring multidisciplinary approach and assessment. Only this approach can enable patients to survive longer and maintain acceptable quality of there lives. Taking a long view over several decades, the steep rise in incidence of this malignancy was strongly alarming. It is partly a penalty for a prolongation of life expectance, since one of the risk factors is age. Knowing the way of life and dietary customs of our ancestors, one cannot deny that the change of lifestyle including dietary habits, as well as decrease of physical activity, obesity, stress, unsuitable thermal processing of food produced in bulk, consumption of immoderate amount of red meat, limited intake of raw vegetable and fruits, excessive intake of xenobiotics, such as medication or cosmetic products, excessive alcohol consumption, particularly beer, nicotinism, environmental pollutants, etc. contribute to the increase of this cancer incidence. Problems of origin and development of dependence on alcohol at women suffering from domestic violence: Protective and risk factors Abstract The bachelor thesis engages with theme of harmful use and alcohol dependence of women - victims of domestic violence. Background for this work was International violence against women survey in Czech Republic from 2003, which presents that 58,9 % respondents met with domestic violence in their lives. 26 % of them, who experienced violence by their partner, had recourse to use of alcohol or medicaments (Pikálková, 2004), which is not negligible number. Theoretical part of this thesis is devoted to themes of domestic violence and origin and development of dependence at first and then it describes existing researches which connect both themes. Goals of the thesis were to describe connection between domestic violence and harmful use or dependence on alcohol on the base of the experience of women exposed to domestic violence and also to describe risk and protective factors of harmful use or dependence on alcohol at those women. The awareness of students of secondary grade elementary school about the causes and consequences of the use of selected addictive substances.

The diploma thesis focuses on the awareness of 2nd grade pupils of the selected primary school about the causes and consequences of the use of selected addictive substances. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes the drug scene in the Czech Republic and the drug policy of the Czech Republic, the concepts of drug addiction, physical and mental addiction. The diploma thesis is focused on legal drugs - alcohol, tobacco, caffeine and illegal drugs - specifically on cannabis drugs. The next part of the work deals with addictive problems in children and adolescents and current trends in the use of addictive substances in young people in the Czech Republic according to several studies. At the end of the theoretical part, risk and protective factors influencing the emergence of addiction and risks and the consequences of selected addictive substances are described. Substance Misuse among Vulnerable Groups of Young People from Institutional Facilities

Issues regarding addictive substance usage are being intensively discussed these days. Significant changes within growing up periods of every individual make them very vulnerable. In this regard, growing up youth is considered as most threatened group. Jeopardy is even higher in the context of institutional rising. Particularly individuals in institutional care belong to most endangered group, with risk of early age habit-forming substance abuse. This dissertation is focused on addictive substance usage as a part of risk-behaviour syndrome while growing up. The aim is to introduce new findings in the framework of addictive substance usage by adolescents with decreed institutional rising and protection.

Colorectal cancer - nutritional risk and protective factors

The thesis is divided into two parts, the theoretical and research. The theoretical part deals with the issue of colorectal cancer. Discusses about the risk factors of CRC such as bad dietary habits, alcohol consumption and nicotinism and protective factors mainly intake of vegetable and fruits and physical activity. The aim of the research part is real verification of these factors among patiens with colorectal cancer.
Prevention of Burnout Syndrome in the Context of Protective Factors by Workers in Social Services in the Selected Organization

This bacholerwork is dealing with the prevention of the burnout syndrome in the context of the protective factors by workers in social services in the Seniors Home Máj České Budějovice. The bachoerwork is composed of the theoretical and the searching part. The teoretical part is composed of four main chapters. The first chapter is dealing above all with the characterization of the social service, the helping professions and the workers in the social sevice. Social service are here characterised above all by the legislative standpoint, especially of the statute no. 108/2006 of the Digest, about the social service. The second chapter is dealing with the burnout syndrome, not with the only term of the burnout, but also with the phases of the syndrome, or with the inception of the case. Among the inception of the case are counted above all the behaving of type A, workoholism, stress, or the slight social recourse many times from the close relationship. Also this chapter is dealing with the symptoms of the burnout syndrome and involves the professions most menace by the syndrome. The third chapter is dealing with the protective and risk factors, connecting with the incepton and prevention of the burnout syndrome. The bachelorwork is more dealing with the protective factors, being very important in the prevention of the inception of the undesirable appears by the social service workers. Among them are counted the behaving of type B, the social recourse the acceptable employment, the asertivity or the resiliense. The last chapter of the theoretical part is dealing with the prevention of the inception of burnout syndrome. Above all it analyzes the supervision including it is species and functions. Then this chapter is dealing with the anti-stress technologies, for example the autogen-training, yoga, the prevention by the internet help, or very interesting prevention of the attectivity. The following empiric part is by now dealing with it is own thema of the bachelorwork, to find out, what kind of reference are keeping the workers in the selected organuzation affording the sociale service to the prevention of the burnout syndrome. To find it out was done the main research question: "What way us taken the prevention of the burnout syndrome by the workers in social service in the selected organization?". The main research question was divited in four partical questions. To get the needed information helped the strategy of the qualittive research and then the technology od the half-structural interview. For the research were these strategy and technology the most suitable ones. Then was taken the method of the working out of the clusters which serves for the better results of recuting. The research collection was chosen by help of the quota selection, formed by 5 respondents, filling the given conditions, inclusive obligingness to take part on the research for the bachelorwork. The only research had two phases. In the first one the before-research by the help of the pilot interview. The own research followed. The single interview with the respondents were taken at the dictophone and then word-by-word written for the reason of the faultless definning of the dates. The result is devided after the single partical research questions inclusive small tables, for every single research question, which makes a better results orientation. From the research is following that the social service employers on the Senior Home Máj České Budějovice are positiv approaching to some mothod of the preventing of the burnout syndrome, on the other side some of them take it negativ. The accent is placed on the prevention whicg is practised by self-help, on the contrary the professional method are taken negativ. Among protectuve factors should have the place the contact at the workplace, but they are unfortunately not well indicated. The results of the bachelorwork could serve not only for the Senior Home Máj České Budějovice, but aalso for the others.
Co-morbidity of eating disorders and alcoholabuse among femal: risk and protective factors

Background: Co-morbidity of eating disorders and alcohol use among women is a topical theme. Eating disorders can be seen as a disease of modern women and alcohol use as very frequent and tolerated by society. Co-morbidity of these disorders is not given enough attention. Aim: The theoretical part defines basic terms of eating disorders, alcohol abuse and their co-morbidity. In the practical part my goal was to identify the risk and protective factors, personal characteristics that were common for women suffering with co-morbidity and to outline the subjective perception of respondents regarding this issue. Methods and sample: Data were obtained by the method of a semistructured interview with five respondents - clients of the aftercare group for alcohol addicts. Two methods were used for the purpose of data analysis: qualitative type of an approach and a pattern (gestalt) recognition method. Results: The thesis described risk factors on the individual, familial and social level. It also described personal characteristics of respondents that overlapped with the risk factors. They can therefore be taken as risk factors on the individual level. Protective factors are mainly positive influence of peers, hobbies and awareness of one's value.
