KOLEŠOVÁ, Anežka
The bachelor's thesis is focused on preschool children suffering from visual impairment along with speech defects. The main goal of this bachelor's thesis is to present the current knowledge of the defined problem as well as to provide the subsequent elaboration of the educational content of the subject special education care. The bachelor's thesis is divided into two parts: the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with people with visual impairment, classification of visual impairment and defects that lead to visual impairment in children. Furthermore, it addresses the specifics of development of visually impaired children and subsequently focuses more on speech and its development. Last but not least, the theoretical part is also focused on speech therapy intervention and education of visually impaired students. The practical part of the bachelor's thesis was developed based on the observation and semi-structured interview. On this basis, the educational content of special education care (school education programme draft) entitled "Speech Therapy Care for Visually Impaired Children" was created. Part of the empirical part also represents "Proposal of Activities for the Implementation of the Educational Content of the Subject Special Education Care: Speech Therapy", which can be used by students, kindergarten teachers, but also parents of visually impaired children.
