Evaluation of pressure conditions in the quenching chamber of low-voltage device

In this master’s thesis there is firstly conducted research about pressure measurement. Next there is mathematical description of thermodynamic conditions in used testing chamber by using magnetohydrodynamic and Maxwell equations. Next chapter deals with testing chamber itself, more precisely with function, model and changes done to it. In practical part there are data measured by used sensors, which are also closer described in this chapter. In next chapter there is comparison of reaction times of used sensors and their frequency specters, obtaining using fast Fourier transformation. Second to last chapter introduces very measurement on the real device and in the last chapter these data are analyzed and more closely described.
Model of composite cantilever with piezoelectric layer

This thesis deals with the generating electrical energy from vibrations from piezoelectric composite cantilever beam. A review of the piezoelectric materials is made. Then the analytical model of piezoelectric cantilever beam is presented, then the influence of parameters is inves-tigated. Case study with theoretic design of parameters on the specific source of vibration is also provided. Last part is the extension of model for the variable width of layers at cantilever

Sensors used in engineering are divided into different kind of groups. One of them are an active sensors, which include inductive, photoelectric, thermoelectric, pyroelectric and piezoelectric. Based on literary study there are introduced, on the first place, the basic concepts related to the general characteristics of sensors, their inclusion in the measuring process and then describes the basic division, each operating principles, dependence and characteristics, specific examples of the applications in technological process and finally their advantages and disadvantages.

Experimental investigation of synthetic jet array

Paper deals on an experimental investigation of a synthetic jet array. This investigation focuses on a partial problem of the general task “a synthetic jet array interacting with a channel flow”. The experiments have been performed with water as a working fluid using hot-wire anemometry, laser Doppler vibrometry and particle image velocimetry methods.
