Danielová, Tereza ; Barák, Vladimír (advisor) ; Krebs, Vojtěch (referee)
This thesis focuses on mapping the current status of people released from prison on the Czech labor market. Closer examination is focused on the main barriers that these people are facing in entering the labor market, and the organizations that help such persons to overcome these barriers. This work also maps out what forms of assistance are currently available in the Czech Republic, as integration into the labor market is an important element in reducing the rate of recidivism. This work also aims to determine what are the social costs and costs for the state budget related to people with criminal records. The practical part of this work consists of an investigative analysis of the issue of employment of people with criminal records. The main recommendations of this thesis are primarily greater cooperation with and support for the activities of NGOs and possibly the introduction of financial subsidies to motivate employers to employ people with a criminal record. This recommendation is supported by the results of a survey of employers in small businesses.

Mejzlík, Marek ; Vostrovská, Zdenka (advisor) ; Krebs, Vojtěch (referee)
This paper aims to analyze success rate of integration of person returning to the labour market after thein previous imprisonment between years 2008-2012. This paper uses data of the prison service of the Czech Republic, projects Šance, Pomůžeme ti pracovat and Nová šance. Active employment policy whose aim is to increase employment shall serve for integration this risk-group. According to hypothesis of this paper financial funds spent within activeemployment policy (from European social funds, national budget and municipalities) for support of the integration of person after imprisonement are spent effectively are spent effectively comparing to, that state would apply the same funds through the Pasove employment policy. Based on the data analysis, I have collected, I falsify this hypothesis because of the money spent on aktive employment policy measures are higher than public funds spent in case of passive employment policy. Recommendations arising from this paper are: higher individualization and control of projects, dealing with this problems.
