Proposal to improve the internal material flow in the selected manufacturing company
Slámka, Jiří ; Lanzendörfer, Tomáš (referee) ; Bartošek, Vladimír (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis focuses on the analysis and proposals for improving the efficiency and automation of internal material flow in a manufacturing environment. The goal is to optimize the delivery of materials from the central warehouse to production lines through an effective and well-planned transportation system. The thesis concentrates on specific proposals, such as optimizing milkrun routes, implementing a database with quantitative material properties, and continuously monitoring system performance. The outcome is a set of recommendations and technologies aimed at enhancing material flow efficiency in the manufacturing environment through milkrun technology.
Flexible Event Processing Subsystem for the Java Performance Monitoring Framework
Júnoš, Peter ; Bulej, Lubomír (advisor) ; Hnětynka, Petr (referee)
Java Performance Measurement Framework (JPMF) is a framework dedicated to description of points, where the performance is measured. This description is used to gather performance data in these running points. Data are gathered and written without any processing. The handling increases bandwidth and puts high load on the storage. JPMF does not provide any possibility for user to reduce this data. This thesis aims to solve the described problem by introduction of filtering and aggregation, that should reduce the bandwidth. Additionally, performance bottlenecks in various parts of JPMF are investigated and removed. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Functional characteristics of broiler chickens and final hybrids
VÁCHOVÁ, Petra
Poultry meat is in the range of basic human nutrition. In human nutrition has a significant position mainly due to its composition. It is especially valuable for high-quality protein. They are very easily digested and contain all the essential amino acids. Aim of this study was a comprehensive analysis of the level of commercial properties in broiler chickens and their final hybrids. The analysis can bring about recommendations for breeders in the selection of suitable hybrid combinations in our conditions. Parental self-test forms consisted of rearing parents until the age of 154 days, the laying period of 280 days and four sub-fattening progeny tests. Rearing, laying and fattening progeny took place in the hall without windows, with deep bedding with controlled lighting and air conditioning regimen. The tests were performed 4 sub-fattening progeny tests using a load of 17.2 units chickens/1m2, length of fattening period was 35 days. The data were obtained with the consent of management of the primary data a comprehensive report of international tests and parental forms of broiler fattening sub-tests carried out in the final hybrid MTD Ústrašice for the years 1995 to 2009. These tests were made by MTD and methodology based on the guidelines for the implementation of performance tests of poultry. The data obtained were classified, summarized, and then the variation statistically using STATISTICA version 6. By comparing the results obtained from the parents and fattening tests it can be stated that, overall, the best combinations were Ross 308 and Cobb 500.
Analysis of the reproductive properties of the sheep´s herd in Michlova Huť
NOVÁKOVÁ, Iva
At the present time in the Czech Republic we can see a growing number of sheep. This is associated with the breed´s development and with various possibilities of their breeding in terms of production. Farmers are mostly focused on breeding for meat and lamb production but what is also important is the selection breeding which is governed by specific rules. These breeds have to maintain constant animal quality. For this purpose they use animal health checks, regular selection, data derived from the records and results of the performance monitoring. The main goal of my Bachelor thesis was an analysis of the reproductive indicators in the herd of sheep in Michlova Huť for which I used data collected during the last two years of breeding (2009, 2010). I also conducted a comparison of fertility observed in sheep during the development of this farm with the current situation of selection breeding. Reproductive indicators are indeed the main source of information about the past and the future development of the sheep´s herd. Based on this analysis I found out that there was no significant influence of paternal line on sheep fertility and ewes (female sheep) intensity of fertility in the surveyed sample of Sumava sheep in Michlova Huť during the years 2009 and 2010. Furthermore, I discovered that the longer this farm exist the higher value of the ewes fertility is there. In 1978 the value of the sheep fertility on this farm was 113,4% while the actual situation from 2010 shows the fertility value of 146,1%. To describe the current state of Sumava sheep in Michlova Huť I used the results of the the performance monitoring found in 2009 and 2010 which do not differ from one another and so they confirm the same breeder´s trend.
Bank branch network management optimization
Hosan, Pavel ; Půlpánová, Stanislava (advisor)
The branch network nowadays plays its role as a primary sales distribution channel of bank products. It is therefore essential for a bank to have an effective network management in place. This work deals with problems related to an optimiziation of a branch network management through a reporting system. The general part is dedicated to the explanation of performance management methodology and description of the importance and transformation the bank branches have gone through. The second, application part demonstrates specific optimization proposals on a branch network managment model. The final part of this analysis presents propositions of simple layout reports that enable the whole process of branch network management.
