Detektivní hra s prvky dobrodružství
Garipova, Dinara ; Vlnas, Michal (referee) ; Milet, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of the work is to design and create a detective computer game with elements of the adventure genre, designed to deeply immerse players in an interactive story using visual novel mechanics and puzzles. The game consists of a main and a secondary part, where in the former the player is immersed in the story through dialogues. The main task of the player is to solve the mystery of the ancient village using clues and solving puzzles. The secondary parts consist of various mini-games aimed at training memory, logical thinking and reaction speed. The resulting application was created using the Unity game development engine and tested with Google forms.
Second grade students of a selected elementary school and solving non-standard problems
Jakoubková, Zuzana ; Voňková, Hana (advisor) ; Čapek Adamec, Martin (referee)
In the theoretical part, the diploma thesis focuses on the definition of the legislative framework regarding to the inclusion of non-standard tasks to the teaching methods in the Czech Republic, with regard to RVP ZV, and then on the explanation of the terms task, and non-standard task in a mathematical context, with reference to the definitions of both, Czech and foreign authors. Subsequently, the author focus on the typology of non-standard tasks, and their use in textbooks and workbooks used during lessons of mathematic in the Czech Republic. The main part of the thesis is an empirical research based on the results of a questioning students from a specified elementary school. The questioning is focused not only on the level of students familiarity with non-standard tasks, but also on their ability to solve these tasks. This research is supplemented by the results of interviews with individual teachers in the field of mathematics at the selected elementary school. During debates with teachers, it became clear that use non-standard tasks like a teaching method is not very common in the Czech Republic. However, it follows from the results of the questionnaire research, that students have experience with basic principles, and algorithms of solving non-standard tasks and in lessons they encounter all...
Elements of logical thinking at children aged form 5 to 6 year
Oupicová, Jana ; Kaslová, Michaela (advisor) ; Slezáková, Jana (referee)
The master thesis deals with elements of logical thinking of children aged 5 to 6, which means the přes-school age. The main goal is to finf out the conditions under which the pre-school children are able to apply elements of logical thinking when solving exercises of the zebra type using the manipulation method. Next goal is to investigate on which of the characteristics of the task depends the success of its solution. The partial hypotheses focus on whether children aged 5 to 6 can successfully solve at least half of the assigned tasks, whether they are able to solve them individually and, last but not least, explore zebra formation after experience from the previous graduated six series. The theoretical part focus on the areas of development that the zebra solution of the pre.school child relies on: motor development, thinkig development, logical and prelogic thinking and the possibility of solving activities. The practical part contains scenarios compiled from draduated tasks that will be solved by three groups of four children. It also contains a series of tasks solved individually by children. In the end, neww groups will be built on the succes rate of previous activities, which will prove the ability to develop tasks from previous experience. In addition to the direct observation method,...
Student´s Summative Assesment in Math in Relation to Selected Factors
CHYTRÝ, Vlastimil
The issues of formative and summative assessment have been discussed for quite some time inside the didactic research community and these two types of assessment are put in complementary ambivalent positions. However, not many times are they discussed according to other factors, such as student self-assessment in terms of metacognitive monitoring, which is suitable for more cognitively demanding tasks. This article puts summative assessment in relation to student self-assessment via specific testing tool focusing mainly on logical thing and mathematical skills of a particular student. Other factors of motivation, such as age or gender will be also discussed further. It shows, that neither age nor gender are of any limit to student self-assessment, or performance, both in tests of local thinking, but also in tests of mathematical problem-solving skills. On the other hand, there seems to be a strong dependence between all the previously mentioned and school evaluation/assessment. The most important finding however, is that there was no difference detected between self-assessment levels of students and different levels of assessment in education. Many studies point out the importance of self-assessment in terms of metacognitive monitoring which influences the overall school performance.
M. Lipman: Thinking in Education
BLÁHOVÁ, Klára
The thesis presents the critical analysis of the work Thinking in Education by M. Lipman It deals with the problemc of fostering thinking through education. It explains the reasons of the relevance of the dialoque ability, critical thinking and also use of the creative and caring thinking. Also it explains that the thinking skills should be the effect of the education not only as a preparation for a life in the democratic society. The thesis summarize the views of it's critics.
The compare of M. Lipman?s and O. Brenifier?s methods to philosophizing with children
HUBENÁ, Lucie
This bachelor thesis focuses on Philosophy for Children (P4C). Outline of this issue describes in the first part of this study. The main aim of thesis is compare two approaches to philosophy with children. The study deals with starting point for ways and is looked for their differences. Lipman's and Brenifier's methods is confronted (main issues of methods, teacher?s position and his role during the philosophizing with children). The thesis deals with conversation, discussion and dialogue during philosophical search and describes important field of development all personality performers. The thesis endeavours to suggest possibilities of combining both methods. The reasons for this connection is presented. In the practical part of study, actual implementation of connection of Lipman?s and Brenifier?s methods is described.
