Červenka, Jan
In the summer survey the Public Opinion Research Centre gave all respondents a question that at eleven-point scale measures the left-right political orientation: "In politics, people sometimes talk about right and left. Where would you place yourself ranked on this scale?"\n\n22.9% of citizens place themselves to the left of the center, 44.0% to the right and 25.5% to the center.\n\nSince 2013 till 2020, the share of the left was steadily declining from its historical high of more than two-fifths to a historical low below one-quarter, where it has stabilized since then up to date. On the contrary, the representation of the right has been growing with certain breaks in the last ten years.
