The line connection is designed for a speed of up to 200 km/h, which was achieved by out-of-level connection and modification of the track design of the modernised line Brno - Přerov. The work also includes a drainage design.
Study of High Speed Track Junction from the Conventional Line at Zaječí
Šikula, Antonín ; Bušovský, Ján (referee) ; Svoboda, Richard (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the design of connecting the high-speed line to the conventional one near the village of Zaječí. The connection of the high-speed line is designed out-of-level and assumes a maximum speed of 230 km/h. Drainage and crossing with surrounding roads were also designed. The work created a 3D model, which is ready for building information modeling.
Design of the Route of HSL Rakvice - Kuty
Komora, Andrej ; Janoušek, Jan (referee) ; Říha, Tomáš (advisor)
The goal of the bachelor’s thesis is to design a high-speed railway line between Rakvice and Kúty (Slovakia). The proposal has been developed in a single main variant. The design speed is 350 km/h, and the speed of the slowest train is 180 km/h.
Design of the Southern Connection from the High-Speed Line to Svetla nad Sazavou Station
Dvořák, Matěj ; Janoušek, Jan (referee) ; Říha, Tomáš (advisor)
This master thesis contains the design of the alternative northern connection of high-speed track Prague – Brno – Breclav to station Svetla nad Sazavou, including optimization of the main track between kilometres 95.3 and 102.3. This connection will be used as the temporary end of the high-speed track. Design speeds of the connection are 160 kph and 200 kph, switches are in kilometres 95.9 and 98.5.
Hrusovany n/J - Znojmo Track Modernization Study
Dvořák, Dominik ; Janoušek, Jan (referee) ; Říha, Tomáš (advisor)
The theme of the Bachelor thesis is modernization of railway line Hruš - Znojmo. The project includes assessment of possibility of increasing the critical running speed up to 200 km/h and its implementation on current track structure. Current track geometry, including its vertical and horizontal alignement, has been modified and the implementation of the line speed verified according to valid standards and regulations base on ČSN 73 6360-1.
Design of junction point Jistebník
Talapka, Filip ; Janoušek, Jan (referee) ; Plášek, Otto (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design a rail connection between the corridor track Přerov – Ostrava and a high-speed track Přerov – Ostrava near the village Jistebník. The flyover interconnections are designed in all four directions for a maximum speed of 160 km / h. The proposal is divided into two basic variants – the minimization of land occupation and the minimization of engineering objects.

HST Station at the Airport Brno Tuřany
Svobodová, Lenka ; Kyselka,, Mojmír (referee) ; Nový, Alois (advisor)
Main topic of this Masters Thesis is design of railway station for high speed line railway. Building site is situated in East Moravian region in the district of Brno-Tuřany. The building is designed as a detached two-storey object standing on the bridge over the railway. Mass of the building consists of two trimmed blocks which are mutually mirrored. The mass of both parts of the building is pervaded by illuminating stripe. Its shape is also based on the shape of trimmed block and rises over the surrounding surfaces. There are placed vertical paths in the stripes. It helps passengers in orientation because these are visible even from the outside of the building. This arrangement of individual masses symbolizes both direction of the arrival of trains to the station. There is placed arrival and departure hall in the middle of the object. Its height is similar to the height of the object itself. The hall is surrounded by the service facilities of the railway station situated on two floors. The supporting structure is made of steel. Both peripheral housing and roof are supported by the frame construction consisting of planar lattice beams. Construction of the façade is composed of frame system Wicona. The peripheral housing is tiled with panels of expanded metal.
