Measuring of parameters dimmable LED sources
Kubeša, Radek ; Štěpánek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Baxant, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the dimmable LED light sources. The theoretical part at the beginning is devoted to the light and the basic photometric quantities, analyzes the light sources and their parametres. It also describes the operating principle of LEDs, construction, power, and control the brightness of LED light sources. The practical part is focused on the measurement and evaluation of operating parameters selected samples of LED light sources.
Organic semiconductors and their applications
Galbička, Tomáš ; Sedláček, Jiří (referee) ; Hubálek, Jaromír (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis is deals with a problem of organic semiconductors, where are describe fundamental principles of charge transport and explanation of basic organic structures. There is described basic operation and layering of simple organic parts especially organic diode. There are practical tests of electrical properties of two different polymer diodes PLEDs. Where in this experimental part are present characteristics of these parts and them comparison at variant ilumination and mutually measuring.
Electrical and optical properties of SiC single crystals
Brynza, Mykola ; Belas, Eduard (advisor)
Silicon carbide is a semiconductor with a wide bandgap of up to 3.2 eV and is capable of operating in extreme conditions, high temperature and high energy modes. This work focuses on the investigation of electrical and optical properties of monocrystalline SiC by various methods including Raman spectroscopy, volt-ampere characteristics, L-TCT and spectroscopic techniques. The adhesion of contacts and the influence of different contact materials on the ability to detect ionizing radiation are also studied to optimize the technology of preparation of quality SiC-based radiation detectors.
