The thesis examines the evaluation of performance of a selected company in the metalworking sector. The performance evaluation includes financial analysis through ratio, difference and summary indicators. The results of the financial analysis are compared with the results of a similar enterprise and the INFA benchmarking system is also used. The performance of the company is then evaluated using nonfinancial approaches, specifically the Balanced Scorecard method. The aim of the thesis is to formulate recommendations that will lead to increase in corporate performance and overall competitiveness. The proposed recommendations, which are mainly directed to the field of marketing and business, are assessed from an economic perspective.

My thesis is focused on the evaluation of company ÚSOVSKO FOOD a.s. using the methods of strategic management Balanced Scorecard and the subsequent design of measures that will lead to strengthening the position on the market. The first part explains the concept of the BSC method and its functioning. The second part focuses on the application of the method to the selected company.

The topic of this diploma thesis is an evaluation of performance in join-stock company PATRIA Kobylí. The thesis is dividend into two main parts theoretical and practical. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts associated with the topic and describes the tools that are applied to a specific company. The practical part is a characteristics of the company. There is conducted financial analysis trough selected indicators and applied modern approach to perform measurement using the EVA indicator. The development for results is observed in a five years period. Analysis of competitive environment is performed using Porter's model of five driving forces, followed by evaluation of opportunities and threats (SWOT analysis). In conclusion, there is a comparison between competitive companies based on method of simple order.

Master thesis deals with the performance management of the business entity active in sphere of accommodation, feeding and hospitality. The financial status of the company is assessed by the analysis of financial statements and traditional standards. Subsequently is the company performance determined by economic value added indicator as one of the modern methods. The outcomes are compared to entire branch by benchmarking diagnostic system of financial indicators INFA. For identification the variables that mostly affect the economic value added indicator is used the sensitivity analysis. Based on the obtained results, are proposed improvements for the performance of the monitored company.

The aim of the work is to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of the subsidy policy on the performance of a selected company and to formulate specific areas of the company development, strengthened depending on the obtained subsidy and proposing recommendations that will lead to improvement of financial health and performance of the selected joint stock company. To achieve the goals, elementary methods of financial analysis, horizontal and vertical analysis are used, difference and ratio indicators are supplemented by a summary and pyramid decomposition indicator. Finally, a recommendation to invest in new technological equipment of the company with a positive impact on the performance of the company is introduced.

Využití moderních metod při hodnocení výkonnosti podniku působícím v oblasti stavebnictví

This thesis deals with the use of modern methods in evaluating the performance of the company in the construction industry. The work consists of two parts. The first theoretical part, provides information and knowledge related to the problematics. For processing the theoretical part is used literary sources from both domestic and foreign origin. In the second part, therefore my work, is used knowledge from theoretical part, gradually applied to achieve the established goal. The beginning of the chapter is characterized by examining a given company, but also the sector in which the company operates. Furthermore the attention is focused on financial analysis of the company, performed on the basis of traditional indicators or indicators of complexive evaluation of the company. The main attention of this thesis is devoted to applying economic value added, sensitivity analysis, identification of value generators, economically-statistical methods and benchmarking method. On the basis of obtained results are in conclusion proposed recommendations for improving the performance of the examined company.

Návrh implementace metody Balanced Scorecard do řízení podniku ve vybraném odvětví

The aim of this thesis is to propose the implementation of the Balanced Scorecard method as a complex instrument for evaluating corporate performance, specifically in the management system of the manufacturing industry. The theoretical basis is presented, on the basis of which an analysis of the current situation of the company is carried out in the context of the business environment and its performance. On the basis of processed analyzes, a model proposal for the implementation of the Balanced Scorecard method is created in the management of the selected enterprise. The paper also provides recommendations on the factors that companies should take into account when formulating the strategy and in defining strategic objectives, scales and strategic actions.

Determinanty ekonomické výkonnosti podniku v rámci stavebního odvětví

The theme of the work are determinants of economic performance of the company in the construction sector. Within the ratings business performance it is necessary to determine the factors affecting the operation of primary activity of the company and consequently the effect quantify. For this purpose it will be used biphasic econometric analysis. The first step will be determined by the influence of ratios economic value added to a statistically significant variables will be further analyzed. The second step will set out to quantify the impact of determinants on company performance. On the basis of the linear regression were statistically significant as determined by the following indicators: current ratio, quick ratio, the lending risk and turnover of short-term liabilities, which became the basis for determining specific determinants of economic performance. To verify their influence on the company was used for regression analysis, comprising a second quadrates all variables. On the basis of this process have been identified as relevant determinants of the following: the amount of current assets, current liabilities and the weighted average cost of capital.
