This bachelor's thesis deals with the general-purpose computing on graphics processing units. The examined kind of algorithms are the sorting algorithms. The beginning of this thesis deals with the general-purpose thematic itself, available tools and technologies. It continues with the basic theoretical informations about sorting. At the end the implementation of some sorting algorithms in CUDA, performance tests and the evaulation of these tests are described.

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá detekcí a sledováním polohy vozidel. Nejdříve jsou představeny základní principy hlubokého učení a konvolučních neuronových sítí. Jsou popsány detektory objektů fungující na principu konvolučních neuronových sítí se zaměřením především na YOLO, které jsou následně porovnány z hlediska přesnosti a rychlosti. Je navržen, implementován a vyhodnocen systém pro detekci a sledování polohy vozidel s pomocí YOLOv4-tiny a SORT.

Disarmament: the development of bilateral treaties between the USA and Russia

The goal of this thesis was to map historical progress of disarmament agreements between Russian Federation and The United States of America from the end of the World War II, through the Cold War and ending in the present, formulated by the latest agreement NEW START made in 2010. This period of time includes rounds of negotiations about SALT, SALT II, INF agreement, through START I, START II, which never came in effect, ending with NEW START. Thesis is analyzing agreements not only via itself agreement's lines or proposals but also with their negotiations that led to formation of the agreements including brief historical background in which they were formatted. Rather bigger attention in this thesis is dedicated to the NEW START agreement which gained experience from past agreements. Thesis is divided into 5 chapters where the first chapter is dealing with theoretical delimits of terms which are necessary for sufficient understanding of the textual mater of these agreements. Other chapters are designed so that after every short introduction of the historical background is following analysis of the agreements or their particular links and their comparison with the previous agreements. Russian-American bilateral strategic arms control treaties after the Cold war

The thesis Russian-American bilateral strategic arms control treaties after the Cold war analyses specific aspects of arms control treaties between the Russian Federation and the United States of America after 1989, and deals with the question of future of nuclear disarmament. It focuses on three main aspects of treaties: quantitative, economic and political. The first part of the thesis analyses the background of the arms control treaties. In the beginning, it defines the framework of disarmament and introduces the basic security principle of treaties. Thesis follows with brief history of arms control initiatives and bilateral treaties signed until the end of the Cold war. In the next part, the thesis clarifies the role of the United States and the Russian Federation with regard to immediate changes in international system after this era. The last part deals with the role of the nuclear weapons in foreign-security concepts of both countries. The second part of the thesis focuses solely on the bilateral arms control treaties and the future of nuclear disarmament process. It begins with the brief information section on arms control treaties and continues with analysis of quantitative limits of each one of the treaties. Varietal quality of malting barley

By purchasing malting barley the quality is evaluated according to standards, techniques, laboratory methods and qualitative indicators, which are set by norm. Evaluation of quality of barleycorn as a material for producing malt is used for setting the price, observing changes of the quality during storing etc. There were evaluated qualitative indicators of 13 sorts of malting barley, which were bought by company ZZN Pelhřimov between 2010-2014 from farmers, agricaltural cooperatives and companies and also self-employed farmers from the region Vysočina. These sorts were represented by different number of samples in connection with bought-up amount and number of supplies of each sort. Weighted averages were counted from results. Average figures of results of analysis were compared with the national average. Research institute of brewer´s and orchardist a.s. in Brno deals with monitoring of quality of malting barley in the Czech Republic and it evaluates annually ca. 500 harvest samples which were received by producers from all regions in the Czech Republic. The quality of malting barley showed a big variability in all parameters across all types and also in particular years. Malting quality is influenced by many factors especially by course of weather in each particular year. Limiting parameter of quality by purchasing malting barley was N- substances content in barleycorn. Germination capacity seems to be the most stable from all parameters. Lower figures of germination capacity were found only by winter types in connection with longer period of ripening after harvest.
